Anthony Tisler of Youngstown will be inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor on Friday in Columbus. The graduate of Campbell Memorial High School was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with “V” for valor “for heroic achievement” in saving several fellow Marines in Vietnam on April 7, 1968. Also being inducted Friday is Robert L. Baird, who grew up in Campbell and Poland. Baird was an Army medical helicopter pilot in Vietnam in 1967 when he was decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal for Valor and the Purple Heart.
