BOARDMAN

Stephanie Heckman and Jason Robert Cuddy, both of Boardman, were married Dec. 17, 2011, at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. The Rev. Lori Valenzisi officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Jeff and Rosemary Heckman of Boardman and the son of Robert and Karen Cuddy of Poland. The couple received congratulations at a reception at The Embassy in Youngstown.

The bride wore a pale ivory taffeta fit-and-flare gown styled with a single shoulder bodice and lace overlay. It was accented with a floral design at the hip fashioned with beading, embroidery and crystals.

Kimberly Heckman, dressed in a fern green dress, attended her sister as maid of honor. Gina Brace, wearing a champagne-colored dress, was matron of honor. Jessica Hurdley, the groom’s cousin, served as the bridesmaid and also wore a champagne dress.

Steve Criado and Dave Pusnik shared best-man responsibilities, and the groomsman was Anthony Cycyk, the groom’s cousin. Jack Hurdley, the groom’s nephew, served as ring bearer.

Mrs. Cuddy graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in early childhood education. She is a kindergarten teacher with Austintown Local Schools.

Mr. Cuddy earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from YSU. He is vice president of research and development at Via680 in Youngstown.

After a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple are living in Boardman.
