Learn basic gardening skills at free classes

WARREN

Friends of the Greenhouse Consortium and the Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership will have free gardening classes from 10 a.m. to noon May 5, 19, and 26 and June 2 and 16 at the Packard Park Greenhouse.

The classes will teach basic skills. All ages are welcome.

The May classes will cover soil, seeds and site; plant choices; and fertilizers.

The June classes will cover plant pathology and insects; and vegetables and herbs.
