Commencement speaker Jeanne Mosure gave her last piece of advice to Canfield High School’s class of 2019 in the form of a quote. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
Tornado victims remembered
It’s been 34 years since the tornado of May 31, 1985, killed nine people in Niles on its way to killing 19 others throughout Trumbull and Mercer counties, but new plaques dedicated Friday at the former Niles Park Plaza brought back real-life recollections of that day.
Poland bulldogs shut out by Gilmour Academy
