2 arrested in Campbell for beat down of elderly man

Sidney Figinsky, 20, also of Youngstown, pre nursing- WHAT A LOSER!

A 73 year old man?! WHY?!

Well congratulations loser. Now you'll be rightfully on the bottom food chain all of your loser life and not the life saver you dreamed of.

Way to plan ahead for your own children. Loser.

Man's car flipped on its side on West Side

What in the world was the 'ex' thinking? And then leave the scene?- Like he has a special bat cave to hide out in until the end of forever?

The current boyfriend should leave because apparently the girl and the exboyfriend cannot make proper life decisions- Perhaps they deserve each other.

Legal weed backers get OK to collect ballot signatures

I liked James A Rhodes (ref above comment).

We don't have to like this, but it is part of Ohios' future. That being said, I completely disagree with giving the kings ring to a select and finite number of commercial growers. Everyone must have the opportunity to be an American entrepreneur in any venue.

Boardman trustees approve measure to aid Southern Park Mall upgrades

Having the SPM go belly up is a very bad thing. Bad things will happen.

If the SPM goes belly up, it may take a decade before it could be torn down and to clean that real estate.

It is fiscally better to work with them than other alternatives.

If interested, go on Youtube and watch videos of abandoned and closed malls and what has happened to the communities. The only solution to a closed mall is enormously expensive and very time consuming.

City council approves grass cutting contract

Gilliam and Tarpley seemingly hinder Youngstown from moving forward on many issues and using the race card will not attract businesses and jobs to our community.

Replace Gilliam and Tarpley with Ernie and Bert and council will finally be able to move forward for everyone.

UPDATE | Senior living developer looks elsewhere in Austintown

“We were looking at land near the racino for independent living and we met with zoning and it was pretty apparent that we weren’t going to get zoned for what we are going to do,” Fisher said.

The Austintown Zoning Department has quite a bit of explaining to do.

The Western Reserve Port Authority has quite a bit of explaining to do.

The reason to suppress jobs in our area demands a complete and thorough explanation. Playing politics isn't going to cut it.
