How many families did they destroy? How many people did they hold emotionally hostage?
These people and their criminal record as well as programs like this can leave our community anytime and don't let the door slap you in the ass.
I agree with all of the following!-
"Returning Citizens?" What, were they on a Disney cruise? Were they serving this Country, abroad, in some civilian capacity, helping feed the poor or other humanitarian efforts? Were they exchange students, learning foreign cultures and ideas? Nope, none of the above. These are nothing more than ex-convicts. Released after serving time in prison for preying on society to satisfy their own greed or lust for some drug-induced "high." Romanticizing a prison stint by calling an ex-felon a "returning citizen" is like calling a thief a "unauthorized borrower" or a rapist a "non-permitted sex partner." "Returning citizens." Unbelievable!! Talk about trying to put "lipstick on a pig!"
