After a 1-9 season, Chaney has turned the program over to alumnus Jim Vivo, who will begin his sixth season as a varsity head coach. Vivo guided the 2000 Ursuline team to a Division IV state championship. He also coached at Lowellville from 1997-98. Vivo and his staff will have their hands full as the Cowboys have just eight lettermen and play a rugged schedule. Vivo says the Cowboys’ strengths are their speed, work ethic and players at the skill positions. Their weaknesses are lack of depth and inexperience.
"Our strengths will be our skill positions, speed and work ethic. Our challenges include our depth and lack of experience." Jim Vivo, coach
