Warren JFK suffered through a 2008 season that began with a forfeit to CVCA and ended with a loss to Howland. In between, not much went right as the Eagles missed the playoffs for the first time in five years and had a losing record for the first time in eight. JFK returns 17 lettermen from last year's team, including four seniors along the offensive line: seniors Anthony Campana, Ryan McCollum and juniors Rocky Mitolo and Brian Tammaro. QB Anthony Angelo, who saw limited time last year, will step in behind center, while RB/WR Korin Stubbs, RB/WR James Coates, RB Nate Marsico and WR Carl Broadbent will man the skill positions. Defensively, two-year starters Ryan McCollum (LB) and Anthony Campana (DL) will be the anchors. The Eagles have good team speed but lack depth. With Bedford Chanel, Hubbard and Girard opening the schedule, they'll certainly be tested early.
