Team Roster 2010
Coach: Dick Angle
The graduation of Matt Preston has the quarterback QB slot up for grabs with senior Tim Parana and sophomores Eric Lockney and Brendan Cope in the battle. Running back Brandon Neilan rushed for 565 yards and scored 12 touchdowns while sophomore Devion Smith rushed for 987 yards and scored 12 touchdowns. The wide receiver position returns senior Dan O’Brien and junior Ken Pozega with game experience. Tight ends Alex Jimenez, Dan Moody and Alec Ciferno all have tools for their position. Anthony Stanko (6-foot-5, 295 pounds) dominates the offensive tackles while Dan DeArment returns at the guard position. Senior Chuck Sayers returns at center. The Tigers’ defense will count heavily on lineman Cody Reesman as a three-year starter. Brandon Neilan and Chuck Sayers will be counted on at outside linebacker while inside linebackers are led by Andy Davis.
Quote:
"We come in with an attitude of expecting to win. Our schedule is tough and we have to be ready and healthy early. But we're hoping to stay and get smarter every game."
