Here are some facts: -On days of flights, there is one attendant manning the booth around the arrival of the flight. Not the entire day, just around the flight arrival time.
-On days there are not flights, there is nobody manning the booth... Due to the next fact:
-The airport installed a parking lot control system last year. It has an automatic credit card and cash machine. Thus all cars parked in the lot will be required to pay. This is commonplace at larger airports.
Knowing those facts, net income is up in the YNG parking lot over the past year.
Just remember, Romney was down in a ton of states in the primary season with about 2-3 weeks before each respective primary/caucus. He used his huge money advantage to dominate the airwaves and in almost every single case, he ended up winning in the close states.
Last year, the airport had 70,000 total passengers, the most since 1998. That number should increase to 75,000 this year.
Allegiant flies 2x to Orlando, 2x to Tampa, and 4x to Myrtle Beach as of this week. Numerous charters to Atlantic City, Tunica, and Gulfport are flown each month from YNG as well.
You are welcome up to the airport at any time and you can see the progress the facility is making.
And remember folks. It was this very program, SCASD, that brought AirTran to CAK and Allegiant to YNG.

Why not read the law folks... It states the following:
A board of education shall not be required to transport elementary or high school pupils to and from a nonpublic or community school where such transportation would require more than thirty minutes of direct travel time as measured by school bus from the public school building to which the pupils would be assigned if attending the public school designated by the district of residence. Where it is impractical to transport a pupil by school conveyance, a board of education may offer payment, in lieu of providing such transportation in accordance with section 3327.02 of the Revised Code.
I welcome you to enlighten me as to what information you are privy to that I am not aware of? The airport is funded with revenue generated by the facility, as well as the bed tax from Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.
The SCASD program has been around for over a decade and was used to get AirTran to the CAK Airport. The SCASD program was used to bring Allegiant to the YNG Airport and it has been doing great ever since!
