Canfield’s decision a puzzling move

Massillon Washington and Toledo Whitmer, two big Ohio public schools, have been nailed for recruiting by the OHSAA. The number of times Ursuline and Mooney have been nailed for recruiting by the OHSAA: 0....

Hmmm, so if it is a fact, throw some names out there so we all know who you are talking about.

Tressel could lead a Y-juco

Bertram,

It does not matter who Youngstown State selects as their next President, you will continue to bash and try to degrade that fine institution of higher learning. I would love to know why each year you find it necessary to rip Youngstown State University? What did the school ever do to you?

JOE SCALZO | A Solution to public-private problem?

Busy, that has got to be one of the stupidest ideas I've read regarding the public-private debate in quite some time. What on earth does that solve!?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

YSU President Anderson to retire

First off gdog, it is obvious you have no clue what you are talking about,

1. The YSU Board of Trustees voted to name Dr. Cynthia Anderson President in 2010.

2. She began as President in July 2010.

3. Governor Kasich beat Governor Strickland in November 2010 and took office in January 2011.

Thus, trying to blame Kasich for the Anderson hiring is pretty pathetic of you. And it will be too bad when he is reflected in 2014 because he is doing a terrific job cleaning up Taft and Strickland's messes.

4. Have you not driven by the Wick Pollock over the past month or two??? The renovations on that mansion appear to be done.

Dems criticize Kasich for turnpike plan

How dare Governor Kasich do his job, clean up the mess left by Taft and Strickland, AND benefit the northern Ohio counties that helped Obama win reelection.

The audacity of Kasich!

Kasich won’t seek to lease Ohio Turnpike

Someone needs to tell the Ohio Democrat Party that it was NORTHERN OHIO, the area Kasich is targeting for major transportation projects, that reelected President Obama to a 2nd term.

The region Kasich is targeting is certainly not the Republican part of the state, it is the Democrat part of the state. The Ohio Democrat Party should be thankful our Governor, who is doing a tremendous job cleaning up the left mess by Taft and Strickland, is looking to benefit these blue counties of Ohio.

New building owner plans to shutter Cedar's

Glad to see new development going downtown. Instead of ripping on the new owner of this building, he should be commended for the great work he is doing for our community.

Downtown will be just fine with or without Cedars.

Rep. Boehner: Obama will doom drilling

Romney - Ryan 2012.

It will come down to Ohio. I think it is essentially tied here, perhaps Obama may have a 1pt lead. Turnout tomorrow will be key.

I would put Obama's odds at 55% to win, but you just never know what to expect.

Expect the worst, hope for the best. GO ROMNEY!

Soup kitchen visit by Ryan stirs anger

Ryan was in a 'damned if you do and damned if you don't situation.'

He was late so if he doesn't show up, they will make it political.

If he doesn't show up, they will still make it political because he was late and was not able to do everything you intended.

Wonder if the media will uncover the fact Juanita Sherba in this article is an Obama supporter? Obviously she wants to make the story political to help President Obama win. Here is my proof: Juanita Sherba is an Obama supporter... Wonder if that has anything to do with the fact they are making this political: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/A5U95o8CEAA…

Quoted in an AP Article:
http://www.cleveland.com/nation/index.s…

Juanita Sherba of Canfield, Ohio, has been attending the demonstrations for 12 years..........

"We believe that Obama's words are true," she said. "He seems to be a man of conscience and I think he's going to look into the way our government does business and truly make it a democracy again."
