The similarities between Tressel's and Wolford's first seasons are eerily similar. Wolford may have a 30 person recruiting class this year with some transfers mixed in. Next year, if we fix this defense, will be better than this.
I understand the concept of margin of error, etc... however all summer, we have had what, one, maybe two, polls show Strickland ahead, while the 30-40 others have Kasich up.
CNN may have had the most people in their sample, but here is where I got my doubts with that poll: Among RV, they had Ted up 2, and among LV they had Ted up 1.
I just do not see any fathomable way that Strickland can get that sort of turnout when the GOP base is so fired up to vote this Election. Most polls have it very close among RV, then a wider gap among LV. For it to only be a 1pt difference, that leads me to scratch my head.
Statistical Dead Heat? Notwithstanding one polls a week ago that showed Strickland up one, cough-outlier-cough, Kasich has been up in every poll. Here are the latest polls:
Joseph my friend, I learned a long while ago back in my grade school years not to post ridiculous, immature comments on the Internet. I think this is a lesson for you to do the same as well.
It is becoming more and more obvious that you never played a down of football in your life because you continue commenting that it took two injured Cardinals for Ursuline to roll.
Once again, Mooney's ONLY score came off a Ursuline fumble in the 2nd quarter. The play after DeChellis went down, Ursuline ran to the opposite side of where DeChellis would have been and Teague took it deep into Mooney's territory, where they later eventually scored.
Joseph, I think you guys need to start worrying about Moeller because if you thought yesterday was bad, you are in for it Friday against Moeller, who I think is one of the best teams in all of Ohio this year.
Another day to scream

Why Strickland must win
Strickland is a joke. Yes the polls have tightened, but Kasich has been up ALL ELECTION season. FiveThirtyEight.com has a good prediction on this race:
http://elections.nytimes.com/2010/forec…
He has Kasich up 51-47% AND gives him an 80% chance of winning.
The race that will be close is down in OH-6 where Charlie Wilson is going to get UPSET by Republican Bill Johnson: http://elections.nytimes.com/2010/forec…
538 has Johnson up by a half point and gives him a 52% chance of winning.

YSU LIVE | Penguins lose 34-30
Tressel was what, 2-8 in year 1. Give this guy time. The defense he was given to him was recruited by Heacock, not Wolford.
Our offense is good enough to win this league, however our defense needs some serious help to win this league.

SurveyUSA: Kasich +5
Rasmussen: Kasich +4
Quinnipiac: Kasich+6
Even if Clinton gets a big Democrat turnout, it won't matter, Independents are going to break to Kasich.

YSU seniors focus on strong finish
Just to put things in perspective, Heacock NEVER beat UNI and Tressel RARELY beat UNI.
Would love to beat them!
