Another frustrating finish ends YSU season

Quite a remark to say YSU2. Hess was horrific, throwing 4 interceptions after having a horrible week last week. He didn't seem to hold a grudge against him considering he played the entire game.

Wolford has taken the blame for all the losses this year, it ultimately comes down to him and he knows it. You really think anyone in this town is happy we won 3 games? No. However those final seven losses were all by 10 points or less and by an average of just 6 points. We are not far from the promised land.

Fact is, if Heacock was our coach this year, those seven losses would be by 20+ and an average in the 10-15+ points.

New-look Penguins hang on against Samford

Nice first win. It will be interesting to see if we can knock off Buffalo of the MAC. They are similar to a Horizon League team.

Ursuline begins quest for 3-peat with win

Once again, the likes of Crestview, United, and South Range would never stand a chance to win the Division 5 state title. Hell ALL three lost in Week 1 so can you guys just give it up already.

Kirtland would have stomped over all three of you as well.

Two years back Kirtland led Ursuline in the final minute of the game before Ursuline scored with under 50 seconds left to win it 18-16. My senior year we lost to another public school in Maria Stein Marion Local.

These programs, unlike the ones listed above, prepare to WIN these games. They don't make excuses like you whiners do.

Get over it. You lost and got lucky to make the playoffs.

Ursuline begins quest for 3-peat with win

Listen, the arguments between the fights began when a SR fan was chirping that we recruit. So like any other team's fan would do, we fought the accusation tooth and nail and before you knew it, the fan bases were going at it.

I hope the SR fans realize they couldn't even beat United or Crestview this year, who each lost in the playoffs last night. For them to think they stood any chance of knocking off the #1 team in D5 is just not realistic. However I do think they outplayed the Irish in the 1st quarter.

NOT AGAIN!

Rick, the secondary coach is a Mr. Ron Stoops from Cardinal Mooney. I would agree our secondary cannot tackle, but 3 of 4 of them are freshmen.

YSU falls to Illinois State 41-39

You guys are pathetic. The defense is being forced to play freshmen cause the previous coach couldn't recruit kids here to play. So we are left with freshmen all over the field who cannot stick with the speed of the college game.

Our last six losses have been by 10, 2, 4, 10, 4, 2. Those single digit losses were ALL in the final 2 minutes of the game.

We may be 3-7, but we are far from bad. The #1 team in the league, UNI, barely beat us by 4 last week. We aren't far from getting on top.

Hell look at Indiana State. They lost 45 of 46 games the last four years or so and they are having a hell of a year this year.

Kasich told Ohioans to trust him to do the improbable: balance budget and cut taxes

The Vindicator Editorial Staff is just upset that almost all of their statewide endorsements lost on Tuesday.. Goes to show you newspaper endorsements mean nothing nowadays.

Valley voters buck trend, but it’s not enough

Hey Faith.... Charlie Wilson ran on the whole outsourcing nonsense and did you see it doesn't work anymore?? He lost by 6% points, or around 10,000 votes.

A huge reason jobs are outsourced is because labor costs, in a large part from unions, are hurting the business climate in this nation. The unions are known for being greedy, and maybe if they were a bit more realistic, we wouldn't have lost so many jobs overseas.
