All renters have a right to safe and decent housing. Certain laws need to be enacted to ensure that landlords comply with housing codes. Unfortunately, there will be an inconvenience factor to the tenants during the inspection process.
This mosque will serve to provoke violence and that violence will begat more violence,,,it will be a never-ending cycle of mindless violence all in the name of freedom of religion!
It is difficult to read this story and not feel compassion for all the abused animals in our world. Something is wrong with people that abuse animals, and I hope that this dog's owner can be found and he will receive the same type of inhumane treatment. Except that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment by the courts. Nonetheless, he will have to answer someday when he dies, we all have to answer. Take care.
Education begins at home. If the parents do not strees the importance of achieving good grades, most of the children will be doomed to drop out and will become another statistic on the government dole list, receiving food stamps and section 8 housing.
As usual, these posting boards contain mindless dribble. Comment #1 was correct in noting that Erskine Street is closer to Youngstown than to Boardman. There is cause for concern living that close to the city limits. Unfortunately, the blight will soon be upon that street no matter what Mr. Neese does.
I previously worked for an organization that helped the homeless secure housing. The majority of them could care less about housing and are concerned with getting their alcohol or drugs for the day. There is a serious mental illness among most addicts, and they don't want to be helped.
I read this story and am confused as to why everyone thinks that this tradegy occured because of the police. The police had nothing to do with the death of this young man, they are however, duty bound to investigate and must preserve the crime scene for analysis.
