3 sentenced in robbery that's terrorized child

The reasoning for this robbery (or any robbery for that matter) makes absolutely no sense. Did the robbers believe that because the victim was an assistant manager of a beverage store, that he took the stores' cash home with him? Also, the sentence was too light, robbery with a gun demands a harsher penalty.

If you have such a negative attitude concerning the Fair, do us all a favor and stay home. It is people like you that give the Fair a bad name.

Ohio supt. vows takeover if Y-town scores don’t rise

Education begins at home, and I fully agree with one of the comments that teachers cannot perform their jobs without help from the parents...Therefore, spending more money will not alleviate the problem.

Acclaimed downtown eatery closes

The bottom line is that Downtown Youngstown is not a destination spot for fine dining & drinking. The restaurants & bars in that area should concentrate on seving breakfast and lunch and close by 4 pm each day.

An enlightening education

Green41,

An enlightening education

Green41,

I attended North Lima/South Range School District 12 years, and know that in the beginning when North Lima & Greenford school districts merged, the students that attended school in North Lima were bussed to a point off Route 46, about where the new school was constructed, and the students who lived in Greenford transferred to another bus that took them home.

An enlightening education

To Green41:

The cost of re-wiring an existing building for high-tech access including Internet, is far more costly than constructing a new building from scratch. In addition, new construction will allow for cost-efficient fuel savings. I also attended South Range H.S., and could not understand how students always needed to transfer bus routes off Route 46. I am excited for the students of Green & Beaver Townships.

An enlightening education

I notice so many negative comments concerning the construction of not only this school, but any new school. Don't you people understand that to remain competitive in the global economy, the United States must make a long-term investment in education? It appears as though some people just want to complain about anything, what miserable lives you must have!
