Someone was shot in the middle of seemingly gang territory 2 miles away from the Youngstown Playhouse and youth theatre!!! Are cars safe in the parking lot of the Youngstown Playhouse and youth theatre and are the CHILDREN SAFE while at the Youngstown Playhouse?

Stage Left is a PHENOMENAL theatre and group, 'Dead Pets' should have been a show that many would flock to. Personally, I must blame the shallow minded low conscious levels of the local audience scene in the Lisbon area for being bigots and hypocritical, especially to a show whose title invokes the yearning for the dark side of pumpkin rolls and Edgar Allen Poe.
Maybe the mentally dead of Lisbon would be more at home watching 'Mame' performed every season, twice a season.
Hoping that 'Dead Pets' isn't dead, but may find its soul at The Victorian Theatre or at The Rust Belt Theatre.
Maybe a Moyer Room stage at the Youngstown Playhouse if they let you hold auditions and don't question the box office receipts... did I go too far kong888 and b appugliese?
If I stated that I felt the Youngstown Playhouse, a supposed COMMUNITY theatre, was seemingly operated like a criminal organization (and not because the Youngstown Playhouse, a COMMUNITY theatre, apparently sits in the middle of gang activity), would I have gone too far then? Oh kong888, there I go with my "...whiny ass...".
Anyway, I do hope the 'Dead Pets' gets a home for its premier. Best of wishes there.
