Power of prayer helps family in miraculous way
The Sebest family, from left, Jack, Marcy and Joe III, gather in the chapel at Ursuline High School in Youngstown, where Jack is a senior. The family traveled to Italy in 2015 for the beatification of Mother Mary Teresa Casini. In 2003, Jack nearly drowned and family and friends prayed to Mother Casini to intercede so he would recover with no ill effects. Joseph Sebest Jr., Joe and Jack’s father, died in 2012.
