Kirkmere, day care students help feed the hungry

Liam Beverly, 2, a day care center student, carries cans of food to fill bags that will be distributed to needy families from Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church’s Family Life Center on Thursday. Fifth- and sixth-graders from Discovery at Kirkmere and Blessed Assurance and Auntie Rei’s day care centers filled the bags as part of a community-service project.
