LOWELLVILLE

Eric Inskeep rushed 31 times for 155 yards and a touchdown and Lowellville held on to defeat Wellsville, 22-21, in an Inter Tri-County League game on Friday night.

Geno Moore caught a 20-yard TD pass from Randy Pavlicko and also returned a fumble 35 yards for a touchdown for the Rockets (1-3, 1-0 ITCL Tier Two), who led 22-8 before the Tigers rallied.

Pavlicko completed 2 of 7 passes for 48 yards.

Marcus Moxley carried 15 times for 118 yards and Brendan Carr added 16 carries for 66 yards for the Tigers (1-3, 0-1). Carr scored the game’s final TD, a 1-yarder with 1:11 left in the third quarter, but Ryan Schiraldi blocked the extra point in what turned out to be the play of the game.

Columbiana 35, Lisbon 0

COLUMBIANA

Britton Steiginga rushed 11 times for 131 yards and three TDs as Columbiana jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead.

Austin Barbatos completed 11 of 15 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown for the Clippers (4-0, 1-0 ITCL Tier One). Jake DeJong caught three of those passes for 62 yards.

For Lisbon (1-3, 0-1), Zach Barnes rushed 11 times for 50 yards and Drew Sweeney completed 5 of 14 passes for 51 yards and an interception.

Crestview 58, Mineral Ridge 7

COLUMBIANA

Nick Blower rushed 12 times for 122 yards and three touchdowns for the Rebels (3-1, 1-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier One). Kris Simpson gained 90 yards on six carries.

Quarterback Adam Coppock completed five of seven passes for 155 yards. Collin Gilbert caught touchdown passes covering 34 and 54 yards. His four receptions covered 120 yards.

Josh Goss scored on a 5-yard run for the Rams (1-3, 0-1).

Southern 41, McDonald 7

SALINEVILLE

J.J. Napierowski caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from Luke Griffith and returned a kickoff 78 yards for the Indians (4-0, 1-0 ITCL Tier Two).

Griffith completed 11 of 17 passes for 226 yards. He hit Marcus Mick with a 25-yard touchdown pass. Zack Puckett gained 128 yards on 18 carries and scored twice. His 91-yard scoring run broke the Southern record. He also scored from four yards out.

Christian Rusinowski scored the Blue Devils’ touchdown on a 23-yard interception return. At quarterback, he completed 15 of 31 passes for 166 yards. Stephen Vidman caught six of them for 70 yards.

Sebring 28, Jackson-Milton 18

NORTH JACKSON

Dakota Wagner rushed 19 times for 165 yards and three TDs for Sebring (2-2, 1-0 ITCL Tier Two), including two TDs in the fourth quarter as the Trojans rallied.

Josh Hurford completed 7 of 12 passes for 41 yards for Sebring, which got field goals from Corey Baia of 25 and 24 yards.

For JM (2-2, 0-1), Brennen Morrison carried 18 times for 141 yards and two TDs and John Gherardi had 12 carries for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Western Reserve 48, Leetonia 28

LEETONIA

Donnie Bolton ran for 192 yards and Jeff Clegg completed 11 of 22 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns for the Blue Devils (4-0).

Backup Nick Allison was 3 of 4 for 83 and a TD for the winners.

Tom Benyo was Reserve’s top receiver with five catches for 94 yards, while Jeff Clegg caught two for 42 and Tim Cooper three for 34. Clegg also ran 10 times for 51 yards.

The Blue Devils were hit for 145 yards in penalties.
