Losing RB Jared Province to graduation was a big loss, but QB Dominic LaPolla (977 yards, 12 TDs passing; 517 yards rushing) is back, as are receivers Nick Brown, Matt Joseph and Mike Fronk. The line is a concern, as versatile starter Pat Lyell is the only one with experience. Two-year lettermen Steve Mahan and Pat Sylvester lead the linebacking core, which will be a strength defensively. JFK has strong junior and sophomore classes, but it should have enough talent and experience to make another playoff run.
