Team Roster 2009
Coach: Dan Yeagley
The Raiders have won the last four league titles and made the playoffs the last six years, but there are serious questions entering this fall. South Range lost quarterback Jack Dawson, a three-year starter, to graduation and have just seven starters back and 14 lettermen overall. Running back Hunter Spitz, along with split end James Nell and win Kyle Seaver, key the offensive skill positions but the Raiders return just one offensive lineman. Strong-armed quarterback Vince Miller will be counted on to lead the passing attack. Defensively, just three starters remain: Spitz, Seaver and corner Philip Arsuffi. With South Range facing strong running attacks each week, it will need to fill holes up front quickly. Yeagley always seems to find a way to reload during obvious rebuilding years, but he'll need a lot of young players to grow up quickly.
