The Bulldogs returned to prominence last fall, going 9-3 with a share of the league title and berth in the regional finals, but lost some key contributors to graduation, including QB Gannon Hulea (now at YSU) and team leaders like Tanner Schultheis, Greg Sabol and Bob Barns. But with 11 starter returning, and 19 lettermen, Poland should be just fine. Division I recruit Luke Wollet returns at tailback after leading the Red Tier in rushing last season. Three lineman return up front on offense, but there are question marks on defense. If the Bulldogs can plug some holes, they should have a typically strong team once again.
