Coming off another undefeated season and 10-1 record, the Blue Devils have some holes to fill. None of the defensive line starters return and Coach Dan Williams says inexperience will be a factor at quarterback, in the kicking game and on the offensive and defensive lines. However, he has 23 seniors and plenty of experience at the other skill positions. Depth should not be a factor. The Blue Devils lost running back/linebacker Nick Cupan and lineman Trent Clay to graduation. Cupan gained more than 1,500 all-purpose yards while Clay made 96 tackles including 13 for losses. The Blue Devils have 15 lettermen back, with five starters on offense and four on defense. They run the Wing T on offense and play the 4-4 on defense.
