Coach: Tom Pavlansky
In 2009, the Bulldogs went 6-4 in the regular season but qualified for the playoffs thanks to a rugged schedule. They have 14 lettermen returning, including five starters on offense and four on defense. They must replace running back Te Elias, the Trumbull County Player of the Year in 2009. The Bulldogs run a spread offense and play a 3-5 multiple on defense. Coach Tom Pavlansky says a team strength is found at the skill positions on both sides of the ball. A concern is “we are very young on both sides of the line.” The Bulldogs’ schedule includes games against the All-American Conference Red Tier’s Howland and Poland (Pavlansky’s high school alma mater).
