The bad news is, LaBrae lost its leading rusher (Cameron Truss, 1,500 yards), leading tackler (Nathan Elliott), leading defensive lineman (Brian Watkins) and leading offensive lineman (Dale Hinzman). The good news is, the Vikings have seven starters back on both sides of the ball and have good talent and depth in the trenches. LaBrae will be hard-pressed to repeat last year's 9-2 season when it made the playoffs for the first time since 1983 and captured the outright league title. But seven or eight wins should be doable, with the Vikings competing for the league crown and a playoff berth.
