The Spartans lost quite a bit to graduation following their best season since 2001. But they return RB Damien Jarrett, a first-team all-Federal League selection who rushed for almost 1,200 yards, and tackle Corey Linsley (6-4, 285), an Ohio State recruit. Guard Alex Lipinsky, RB Cameron Shaffer and TE Pat McFall will help lead a promising offense. Defense is another story. McFall and DE J.T. Moore are the only returning starters and the new guys must step up fast if Boardman can survive its typically strong schedule and make another playoff run.
