The video titled “Cafaro infomercial raw” shows segments of the depositions that are being shaped into a 30-minute infomercial that will air on local television this Sunday and May 6. Ludt and Traficanti voted to purchase Oakhill and were the two commissioners deposed. The videos titled Tablack 1, 2, 3 and 4 show the full deposition of the county administrator. The county tried to block the airing of the infomercial claiming, among many things, that showing it in segments would not “accurately portray the content of the depositions.” A judge ruled Friday that the infomercial can air as is. The infomercial contained on this link is not the finished version. When the clips fade to black, the finished infomercial will have text that will offer what commissioners will appear not to be able to answer. County officials maintain that Tablack’s answers more accurately reflect the county’s thought process in purchasing Oakhill.
