Texas-sized hypocrisy

O gimme a break. Here you damn liberals go again with the belief that Fox staged these things. WRONG. Jim Shaw planned the one in Youngstown, NOT Fox News. Justin Higgins of Brookfield, OH helped plan the one in Columbus, NOT Fox News.

And o by the way, it is Rick Santelli of the far left NBC Family of Networks that is the inspiration behind these.

I criticized Bush for spending too much and I am going to criticize Obama for spending even more than Bush did.

Two hospitalized after four-vehicle crash

Hope everyone turns out okay from this terrible accident. There will be a couple of civil cases for injury purposes I am sure, and I'm afraid the one that had to be life flighted will bear the most blame.

Hockey deal for Chevy Centre advances

I am a proud supporter of all YSU sports. They may be under .500, but yet they still drew more people last year in basketball than the Phantoms did my friend.

Hundreds use tax day to protest federal spending policies

SAD?
300,000+ Attended these rallies, which were organized by the blogsophere, not FOX.

And nonetheless, Fox absolutely annihilated the competition at every hour from 5pm-11pm that day.

Do you care if hockey returns to the Chevrolet Centre?

Who cares what you call it. At least its professional in some way, shape, or form. If I want to see my fellow classmates from high school play hockey, I'll go check them out at the Ice Zone, not a $45 million dollar facility.

I will not support junior hockey at the Chevrolet Centre. It is that simple. My money will go elsewhere.

Phantoms08. I gave the Phantoms a shot twice and I was greatly disappointed. I'll stick with watching the Pittsburgh Penguins on TV and attending each and every YSU Basketball Game.

Phantom, I'll gladly take the pictures off my phone for you to see. And okay so the ECHL is semi-pro, still better than junior level hockey.

Another thing here: You go on and attack the Steelhounds attendance and the fact they need 4000 every game..... Well Mr. Phantoms08: What attendance does the Phantoms need to be a viable business??? They only are getting 1000 right now, and judging by the TV footage I've seen, even that seems to be a stretch.

You got to understand something here Phantoms08: It costs a LOT OF MONEY to rent out the Chevrolet Centre each and every night. 1000 fans will not cover that rent, nor will the concessions. They need a lot more than 1000 fans and they will not get it in the USHL.

Go ahead and tout the success of the Phantoms and their fabulous 1000 fans per game 'Phantoms08'. Want to talk about losing money... How do you expect to remain viable with that revenue stream being so tiny?

And looking back on the Steelhounds, anyone that attended the March 22, 2008 game against the Colorado Eagles understands why we want Professional Hockey here.

Crowd was around 4000 in this game..
