Slowly Boardman is going bankrupt and at some point in time a JEDD with Youngstown will be inevitable.
Although I don't like what you had to say in your comment (" ...ask the township employees to take small wage cuts of 10% and contribute at least 20% of their health-care."), I cannot deny that, in fact, you are right.
Those are hard facts I simply hate to hear or see written about because of the impact it has upon very honest, hard working people just trying to survive.
"One of the most successful inner-city programs in the past, is the Jim Brown " Ameri-can" program. His program hires mostly ex-cons who teach a curriculm in school districts."
That program, Jim Brown " Ameri-can", is above board in telling people that they hire ex cons. C.A.R.E. apparently had not done that and WHY woud C.A.R.E. even consider hiring ex cons anyway?
"“the principal was informed by C.A.R.E. that Patton had nothing in his background that would disqualify him from working with children,” the email said. “The principal did receive a copy of a background check prior to his working at the school.”"
Someone needs to reconsider their decision making skills, especially in the areas of hiring, as children should not be, even indirectly, involved with ex cons, regardless of what crime was committed and time served.
Seemingly, David Griffing, Warren auditor, was undercover testing the traffic knowledge of a Bazetta Township police officer and needed to go over that doube yellow line three times. Apparently, the officer also had his ticket, arrest skills, and knowlege put to the test.
Former Congressman, James Traficant used this undercover method to spy on his mafia pals whom paid jimmy $60,000.00 for the priviledge of knowing they are doing it right.
Lets hope that the undercover operation in the criminal justice jail system finds all, if not most, new occupants sponge worthy...
This is a great story with a wonderful community hero, Rev. Edward Noga, pastor of St. Patrick Church.

Thanks for this informative story and here's hoping the city keeps going.
"So sorry for the delayed response time, I was busy doing more important things than reading your ridiculous drivel."
Askmeificare responds:
Then why, in your comment # 8 above, did you write, "I can't wait to read your response."
Why would you want to play this anonymous game of "I told him off" when you know my intellect is far superior to yours?

"As for your accusation that I am "harassing" the mentally challenged, my comment was not directed toward those of which I have nothing but sympathy and compassion for, but to those of the likes of you, to whom God has given full mental faculties, but refuse to utilize them as intended."
Askmeificare responds:
johnyoung, you did indeed write, "People like you with obviously impaired reasoning skills are the true problem in our community."
And I responded, "If you truly believe, as you have stated, people with impaired reasoning skills are the true problem in our community, then kindly exit our community."
"We don't need PEOPLE LIKE YOU abusing and harassing the challenged and handicapped citizens of our community."
Now you are stating that you don't actually mean what you have to say here within this forum.
Well, what is it johnyoung? Anyone may now question your credibility as to when and in what manner you state the truth when addressing, at times, very serious issues herein this vindy comment section that deserves, at times, very serious discussion.
Stop perverting your written intent to suit YOUR needs and negative slamming of others and start focusing on our community which needs the help of ALL citizens.
johnyoung, the precepts of your comments in # 15 don't need any retort as, really, we both know, you don't know what you are talking about.

12-year-old duct-taped and caged at picnic
If the boy was with his father, then WHERE was the father?
Sounds like the boy needs to get separated from his father and sent to a foster home where he is attended to and cared for and watched after.
I wonder if the father is / was drugged out of his mind when all this was happening.
If the boy was being a bully to others, grown or juvenile, then perhaps the boy needs to enter the crimial justice system.
Either way, I bet "the same two men" are dishing out excellent vigilante justice!

Youngstown man caught tailing officers
@ James B. Ludt of Midlothian Boulevard:
Ya know, I thought everything you did, including the youtube videos was within reason and fairly humorous, but this is different.
Following officers around on routine calls AND then calling an officer at home?
This situation and you have simply gone too far.
Mr. Ludt, please seek the confidence of a counselor.

Trim Trumbull precincts now
The vindy is right on this. Trim it now.
Extreme is when a community files bankruptcy and NEEDS to get into a JEDD.
Buying time is all this is. How much time- who knows?
Depends how much spending money the citizens have within their community to go out to eat and shop, etc..
