Reducing prison population is inevitable, but at what cost?

@ Stan:

You are right on as usual, my friend.

I say execute everyone in prison whose sentence is 9 years or more.

Then see what happens to the crime rate and the prison population.

Well said. Well spoken.

YSU union files lawsuit against its ex-treasurer

@ Chief_Justice_Spartacus:

"New blood is needed in our valley."

Youngstown just had a primary election and the voters chose to re-elect the same old same old politicians.

Thank God for Connie Hawthorne.

So where will you be Saturday?

"A Facebook page titled "Post rapture looting" offers this invitation: "When everyone is gone and god's not looking, we need to pick up some sweet stereo equipment and maybe some new furniture for the mansion we're going to squat in."

Seems the liberal christians are open to partying with the Satanists.

I wonder what the altar will look like sunday morning.

Editorial was far off track

@ mcluvin:

HAHA!

I totally agree. Seems nunya likes to read her own musings for hours on end, especially when she stuffs her words with nonsense and wordy misphrases.

Nunya, please, take a nap, have a verbal conversation with a friend to help you get back into reality, and set your thesaurus aside.

Ha-ha! mcluvin, your comment made my evening!

Tainted officials should be removed from public payroll

Carol Rimedio-Righetti will soon enough hang McNally out to dry. It is her way.

McNally is only buying time and hoping that someone can help him out.

Righetti flexes her muscle

"Thus, it could come down to a battle between the chairman and a commissioner who obviously sees herself as queen of the hill. It would be an interesting fight.

It’s noteworthy that Rimedio-Righetti’s claim to fame is the fact that she has never held a private sector job. But, she believes she can run the county.

Tablack, a certified public accountant, is an acknowledged expert in government financing in Ohio. Yet, he was unceremoniously drummed out by a person with five months’ experience as a commissioner and a lawyer who is a defendant in a criminal trial.

That’s brazen."

Tablack is a VERY GOOD MAN. Incredible and sad that he has been kicked around as he has.

The vindicator has unjustly trumped up Carol Rimedio-Righetti when all she has done is be a negative candidate and politician.

Hopefully the public will see Carol Rimedio-Righetti as I see her - a fake and a phoney out for herself.

Gains: Bill indicates guilty plea by Antonini

Noralynn Palermo, county recorder, stated, “I think she’s truly sorry.”

Truly sorry she got caught.

Antonini's arrogance must be legendary.

I have my money that at some point in the future, john swierz and Mahoning County Commissioner Carol Rimedio-Righetti will face the same due to their arrogance.

Our local politicians are quite the Ohio Ethics Commissions' MEOW.
