And yelling that you're getting arrested is revenge for getting someone "DUI'd" up in Cleveland is quite lame.
Still, I'm sure ALL OF US have more than gotten away with speeding here and there and the State Patrol, in my experience, has always been fair ( except for one smartass... ), so lets cut this guy a break.
If they lower the passing grade from it's current 70% then I want my Doctorate Diploma from Yale University.
What is next? Fog a mirror now go to the front of the line, get your badge and maintain sensible community order without the abilities of lawful and compliant understanding of what doing the job and dealing with the public scum entails?
Who would be the winners in this new system of standards? It is supposed to be us, the citizens.
White, Black, Red, Orange, Purple, -I don't care what color the officer is in maintaining order in my community and backyard as long as there are enough officers CAPABLE of doing the job, BUT CONSIDERING LOWERING SCORE STANDARDS?
Why not simply have a White and Black officer, keeping pace with each others methods and exam language, administer the tests side by side to the applicants? Would that work?
If you're considering lowering the exam scores, then take the next logical step and auction the job off on the courthouse steps to the highest bidder.
Also, I sincerely Thank You, everyone involved, in hiring these new officers as they are desperately needed.
