I read the facebook pages and it seemed to me that Manias, Cook and Crowthers had the email attention of a Senator and Manias, Cook and Crowthers didn't have the maturity to intelligently communicate during the facebook session. Hence, the three fired at him rudely and moronically.

"Council People wantto sit on the council and look important, but they don't do a Damn thing for their areas that they were elected for. Yeah! They hold townhall meetings and say, " We need to do this, and we need to do that!" But that is as far as it goes."
Right on! EVERY COUNCIL MEMBER NEEDS TO GO! Swierz in the 7th ward is only interested in photo opportunities, Drennen in the 5th ward is totally clueless, Gilliam in the 1st ward has no leadership abilities.
People, we need to get rid of every office holder that does nothing for us, especially since President Obama is cutting Federal aid.
How long has Jay been in the Mayors office INCLUDING his first election? And seemingly just now the councilmembers complain about lack of communication?!
"Councilwoman Annie Gillam, D-1st, said there are 11 houses in her ward that were supposed to be demolished last year using federal money. None have come down, and a few of them pose serious safety concerns, she said."
And NOW you, Annie Gillam, go to the newspaper after a year without results?
EVERYONE on City Council needs to go. Jay Williams, I believe, is not the problem.
We all need to vote differently until WE THE TAXPAYERS get someone in there on City Council who will serve us, THE TAXPAYERS.
AND get rid of the same old politicians in Youngstown!

Thieves rob church of equipment used to help neighborhood
FROM A CHURCH?!?!?!
Why am I shocked at this even though it's not the first church to get ripped off?
"Early last week, someone cut the chain that secured the fence and then broke the lock and stole some of the equipment."
