" It is because we have no interest in listening to someone who tells us the truth about what we are doing wrong. "
Why do WE have no interest in hearing from someone tell us the truth AND how do we fix / overcome our personal issues / problem(s) when we listen to someone giving us advice that we know they are right?
In other words, what would it take for: 1]. The intelligent, and; 2]. The unintelligent
people of society, especially those involved with children in any manner, to start listening and following through with personal actions to the words and wishes of Bill Cosby?
@ Stan:
" Toledo is not to be confused with Youngstown where parents raise the kids in their own image . In Youngstown we have no rampant crime, only rampant culture ! "
Very interesting words, my friend. However, if behavior is simply a copy cat mentality, as you are implying, then why are there so few copy cat personalities copying from the hit show, "The Cosbies" and other similiar family orientated television shows?
Why aren't more families or even individuals acting out like the Huxtable family vs. acting out the movie Scarface?
I understand the issue of parents acting a certain way and their children pick up their parents habits, but why are the parents not behaving like the Huxtable family or other parents of other family orientated family type shows?
Those who want to run Youngstown like a business do indeed have alot of work ahead of them, if for nothing else, due to the fact that our local politicians haven't done anything that made good "business" sense since... well... ah... uhm... ahhhh...
Well, Jack Hunter was Mayor.
Hey Skolnick-
If you want an easier week, why not write an article titled:
Who cares about the,"... hazards to the health and welfare ..." of criminals?
Hello Jim Hughes - My tax dollars should go to cops chasing and capturing criminals in Youngstown and Mahoning County.
Change the city’s pursuit policy.
I understand the health and welfare of the innocent public, but my money is on the great police officers that had their lights and siren going to alert other vehicle traffic about the dire situation taking place.
I wish I could afford to buy those two officers AND their families a free vacation to Walt Disney World for the one week they are off.
I made a penny fraction of what you made last year AND I paid all my taxes due.
May I suggest YOU take a pay cut to where I, the little folk live, then you will be able to afford to pay your taxes.
Mind if I Judge You?
HERE YE, HERE ALL-
Everyone with business before this court come to order.
THE PEOPLE VS. JUDGE BELINKY
Case is ready for sentencing. Mr. Belinky please stand.
Count One: This court finds you guilty of gross financial negligence.
Count Two: This court finds you guilty of improper planning from a public official.
Count Three: This court finds you guilty of gross stupidity in your attempt to get over on the people of the state insofaras making comments like:
“When I became a judge and had to finish up my practice, it generated a lot of income, so, on top of my new salary, it created an income-tax problem,” the judge said."
Is that your excuse for tax year 2008 or tax year 2009 and / or into tax year 2010?
This court orders you to:
Serve out the remainder of your judgeship term whereupon completeion you will not seek re-election and if you do you will live with an election loss.
Pay your taxes with a 48% penalty; another 48% interest, and another 48% stupity charge - consider it a refund for making a fuss about wanting a bigger courtroom.
This court congratulates you on earning income that essentially cost you the "sheeple peoples job".
Is the city of youngstowns' budget so lean that outgoing politicians, in a lame duck environment, STILL go out on political junkets paid for by the taxpayer?
Come on politicians - quit playing the game and trim the remaining fat off the city budget.

That should be a 10:00 am to 12: noon write up.
Just being a friend.

Class provides opportunity for Mooney students to help others
Are any of these the same Mooney students that went into Canfield and beat that Father and Son up?
I'm not a hater, just asking.

lsp- lazy stupid punks
HAHA I'm now a fan of yours. Please add me to your fan list.
@ reader:
I agree that the sentences should have been much more extreme than they were. I wonder if there was a payoff for such a low, low sentence.
@ silence_dogood:
I hope your math is correct. All that is assuming the girl the thug(s) lived with doesn't repeat her stupid choices in "men", right?
@ samlam:
Phil is right. You should change your name to samIamracist.
Only I hope you move far outta "Y-TOWN - MY TOWN" when you do. We don't need your racist jackass type here.
