INTERACTING: Youngstown State University business school students known as SIFE, Students in Free Enterprise, were among many who took Christmas to clients of the No Limits Alternative Center on Dec. 18. A group of community citizens, businesses and volunteers organized by Eric Bohr, Walgreen’s manager of the neighboring store, gathered food, funds, gifts and helpers to benefit the center, which serves adults with special needs in the Mahoning County area. Bohr presented a big screen TV and DVR to the center, replacing a very small unit. Fitch Interact Club members then played “Plinko” and “The Price is Right,” using the new TV for the games. SIFE students led group singing, and Santa and the missus paid a visit, giving specially selected gifts to each adult client. Interact members and volunteers helped serve lunch and dessert to the group. Above, students from YSU’s SIFE who helped make the day brighter for No Limits clients are, left to right, Dan Martins, Rose Shaffer, Marcus Oakley and Mark VanFosson.
