Cardinal Mooney lead 19-6 until St. Francis DeSales scored 12 unanswered points in the fourth.

Jason Santisi led the Cardinals (2-1) with 169 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries.

Joey Velazquez ran for 137 yards on 24 carries for St. Francis DeSales (2-1).

Canfield 35, Chardon 13

Mehlyn Clinkscale ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns to lead Canfield (3-0).

Nick Crawford added three touchdown runs, and Matt Zaremski had 105 receiving yards for the Cardinals.

Max Licchty had an 85-yard interception return touchdown for Chardon (1-2).

Liberty 64, Pymatuning Valley 0

Liberty quarterback Hamad Alhmeed ran for 156 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries and threw for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Migel Burgess ran for 100 yards on two carries. He had a 58- and 42-yard TD runs for the Leopards (2-1).

Pymatuning Valley managed just 140 yards of offense.

Poland 42, Jefferson 0

Poland

Cole Kosco completed 3 of 4 passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score for the Bulldogs. Mitchell Frederick caught TD passes of 6 and 68 yards for Poland (3-0).

Jake Rutana ran for 37 yards and a touchdown on four carries.

Tyler Cathcart ran for 31 yards for Jefferson (0-3).

Valley Christian 34, Lisbon 7

LISBON

Milan Square rushed for 127 yards and passes for 179 for the Eagles (3-0). He scored touchdowns on runs covering 57 and 70 yards. He also connected with Jordan Trowers for a 75-yard touchdown pass.

Trowers caught four passes for 103 yards.

For the Blue Devils (2-1), Bell rushed for 89 yards and Ryan McCullough scored from the 14.

Western Reserve 48, Cambridge Springs 0

BERLIN CENTER

Ryan Slaven threw four touchdown passes to different receivers for the Blue Devils (3-0). Catching them were Brandon Jarvis (12 yards), Todd Henning (46), Lucky Kiesewetter (13) and Dom Bengala (51).

Slaven completed 7 of 8 passes for 138 yards.

Bengala also caught a touchdown pass from Nick Cavoulas covering 27 yards. Jimmy Mayberry returned a punt 83 yards and Adam Gatrell scored on a 75-yard run.

The Blue Devils limited Cambridge Springs to 35 yards rushing on 23 carries and 78 passing.

Brookfield 48, Cuyahoga Heights 17

BROOKFIELD

The Warriors (1-2) rushed for 342 yards. Hayden Gibson threw two 10-yard touchdown passes to Gage Emery and a 30-yard scoring completion to Dakota King.

Gibson rushed for 129 yards and passed for 71. Tyler Briggs rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown.

For Cuyahoga Heights, Sam Shafer rushed for 156 yards.

McDonald 56, Champion 7

Champion

McDonald’s Alex Cintron ran for 199 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Josh Celli completed 5 of 7 passes for 102 yards and two scores for the Blue Devils (3-0).

Keegan McDermott scored on a 32-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for Champion (0-3). Carter Mass led the Golden Flashes with 60 rushing yards on 10 attempts.

Hubbard 62, Edgewood 12

HUBBARD

Davion Daniels led the Hubbard (3-0) offense with 94 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Daniels also had 110 passing yards and three more touchdowns through the air.

Daniels found Jayquan Odem twice for touchdowns as well as Bray Donlow. Donlow also had two interceptions to lead the Hubbard defense.

The Eagles held Edgewood (1-2) to -27 rushing yards until the final play of the game when the Warriors’ Zach Winchell broke free for a 33-yard run.

Padua Franciscan 25, Howland 14

HOWLAND

Crishawn Long rushed for 106 yards and scored three touchdowns and the Bruins (3-0) forced three turnovers in a non-conference victory,

Long scored on a 45-yard reception and runs of 30 yards and 1 yard. Howland’s TDs came on 75-yard pass from Jordan Fronzaglio to Michael Wilson and a 69-yard run by Eric Babinchak.

The three turnovers by the Tigers (0-3) included an interception in the end zone for a Padua TD by Johnny Harris.

LaBrae 49, Lakeview 13

CORTLAND

Kent Wolford passed for 165 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikings (3-0). His scoring tosses were to Colton Stoneman (17 yards) and Tyler Stephens (19 yards).

Stoneman rushed for 102 yards and scored two touchdowns. Devin Carter also rushed for two scores.

For the Bulldogs (1-2), Dakota Whitt scored on a 48-yard run and Isaiah Munno hit Gavin Mauger for a 34-yard score.

East Palestine 48, Campbell 37

EAST PALESTINE

Led by Parker Sherry, East Palestine (1-2) picked up its first win of the season. Sherry passed for 198 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for 91 yards and two more scores.

Dominic Posey caught all three TD passes, totaling 136 yards on eight catches. Posey also had 82 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown.

Campbell (0-3) scored 30 points in the fourth quarter to make the game interesting.

James Shaffer, Kayvon Moore, and Bra’lyn Liggens all ran for touchdowns for the Red Devils in the fourth quarter, and Jonah Fakner had a 15-yard fumble return TD for the Red Devils.

Massillon 51, Warren Harding 21

Massillon (3-0) totaled 554 yards of offense, led by Jamir Thomas with 266 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Aydrik Ford caught two touchdowns from Aiden Longwell.

Harding (1-2) was led by Kayron Adams, who ran for 125 yards and a touchdown, along with 43 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Richmond Heights 36, Lowellville 23

Rico McPherson led Richmond Heights (2-10 with 54 rushing yards and two touchdown runs. McPherson also had a receving touchdown. Jake Rotz led Lowellville (0-3) with 135 passing yards and touchdown passes to Micah Mamula Zarlingo (84 yards) and Matt Hvisdak (51 yards).

West Branch 49, Southeast 19

Thomas Caserta ran for 190 yards and two touchdowns to keep West Branch (3-0) unbeaten.

Brock Hillyer ran for 62 yards and three touchdowns for the Warriors. Hillyer also had 117 yards through the air, including a 56-yard touchdown pass to David McKeiver.

McKeiver finished with 89 receiving yards. Kaleb Wright led Southeast (1-2) with 144 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Newton Falls 28, Mineral Ridge 15

NEWTON FALLS

Newton Falls (3-0) scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Ivan Howard linked up with Preston Rapczak twice and Mitchell Harley ran for two more scores.

Nathan Chiclowe ran for 89 yards and a TD for Mineral Ridge (0-3).
