St. Clairsville 41, South Range 40, 2OT

Beaver Township

Brady Kolb carried the ball 46 times for 289 yards and five touchdowns to lead St. Clairsville (9-0) over South Range (4-5).

Kolb scored on a 5-yard touchdown run and the game-winning 2-point conversion.

South Range kicker Logan Weaver missed a field goal at the end of regulation and had his extra point blocked following a 5-yard touchdown run by Trent Harrold in the first overtime.

Isaac Allegretto completed 19 of 33 passes for 299 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran for a 9-yard score.

Canfield 53, Howland 7

Canfield

Chris Sammarone and Colin Hritz each scored twice as the Cardinals improved to 8-1 on the season.

Sammarone scored on runs of 21 and 2 while Hritz ran for 3- and 14-yard touchdowns.

Mehlyn Clinkscale led the Cardinals with 127 yards rushing on eight carries, including a 57-yard touchdown.

Jordan Fronzaglio found Michael Wilson for an 80-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter for Howland’s (1-8) only score.

Jackson-Milton 13, Mineral Ridge 12

North Jackson

Sean Lengyel scored on a 4-yard run to put Jackson-Milton (4-5) ahead early in the fourth quarter.

Dyllen Gibbs completed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Davis in the second quarter. Gibbs went 8 of 14 for 96 yards passing.

Dakota Edwards scored ona 2-yard run and found Joe Rozzi for a 45-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for the Rams (1-8).

Edwards finished 4 of 10 for 70 yards pasing and an interception. Nathan Chiclowe ran for 74 yards on 16 carries.

Niles 62, Jefferson 0

Niles

Robbie Savin and Travis Molnar each ran for two touchdowns as Niles won its second straight game. Savin ran for a game-high 103 yards on seven carries.

Romaro Baskin returned a punt 44 yards for a touchdonw and Curtis Taylor returned an interception 24 yards for a score for the Red Dragons (3-6).

The Falcons (0-9) didn’t complete a pass, going 0 for 2, but Daniel Bruckman carried the ball nine times for 16 yards.

Brookfield 36, Campbell 7

Brookfield

Brookfield scored 30 unanswered points after trailing the Red Devils 7-6 in the second quarter.

Haden Gibson scored on runs of 6, 17 and two to lead the Warriors (2-7). He ran for 166 yards on 21 carries and completed 8 of 12 passes for 137 yards and an interception.

The Red Devils (0-9) scored when Kavon Moore found Malachi Bannom for an 89-yard touchdown pass. Moore finished 4 of 6 passing for 114 yards.

Liberty 38, Newton Falls 0

NEWTON FALLS

The Leopards (7-2, 4-1 AAC Blue Tier) scored four touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Migel Burgess rushed for 152 yards and two scores, both of which came in the fourth quarter. Jalen McKinney ran for 117 yards and a score. Justin Cizmar and Jamie Melton each had a TD in the fourth quarter. Kameron Thomas recovered a Tiger fumble in the endzone. Ivan Howard passed for 93 yards for Newton Falls (4-5, 0-4 AAC Blue Tier).

Marlington 28, West Branch 20

West Branch (6-3) scored two late touchdowns but their comeback attempt fell short.

The Warriors were led by Thomas Caserta, who had 128 rushing yards. David McKeivier had 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Marlington (8-1) was led by quarterback CJ Greiner with 246 yards and three passing touchdowns. Mason Markavien was on the receiving end of two of those touchdown passes, totaling 97 yards on four catches.

Indian Creek 21, Crestview 12

Trevor Fante ran 28 times for 167 yards and two touchdowns to lead Indian Creek (7-2).

Dylan Huff led Crestview (5-3) with 90 rushing yards and a touchdown. Andrew Yanssens also had a 34 yard rushing touchdown for the Rebels.

Lakeview 34, Champion 10

CHAMPION

Dakota Whitt ran for 118 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Lakeview (4-5) over Champion (2-7).

The Bulldogs’ Gabe Senkowitz returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter to build the Bulldogs lead. Isaac Russo put the game away for Lakeview in the fourth with a 28 yard touchdown run.

Nick Stahlman scored a rushing touchdown for the Flashes. Austin Willforth led Champion with 82 yards rushing.

Windham 39, Southington 0

Philip Maiorca ran for 93 yards and two touchdowns for Windham (8-1). Blaze Angle added one rushing and one passing touchdown for the Bobmers.

Southington (6-3) was led by Chase Iser, who had 30 yards receiving.

East Palestine 62, Lisbon 8

Parker Sherry threw for four touchdown passes to lead East Palestine (5-4), including three to his favorite target Dominick Posey. Sherry finished with 372 passing yards, while Posey had 132 receiving yards.

Colton Cook also caught a 75 yard touchdown from Posey. Thomas Shasteen added 92 yards and two touchdowns rushing for the Bulldogs.

Brice Blackburn led Lisbon (3-6) with 76 rushing yards and a touchdown.
