Antonio Page put up a combined 214 yards of offense and scored two touchdowns for Mooney (3-3). Page had 108 yards passing and 106 yards rushing. Dan Simko had 32 yards and two touchdowns on two carries.

CAMPBELL

Mark Waid combined for 179 total yards for Girard. Waid was 7 of 15 for 101 passing and carried the ball nine times for 78 yards. Michael Belcik had seven catches for 125 for the Indians. Morgan Clardy scored in the third quarter on a 92-yard kickoff return. Antwaan McMeans had 12 carries for 22 yards and two catches for 74 yards.

Liberty 34, LaBrae 20

LEAVITTSBURG

Dra Rushton ran wild for Liberty (4-2) totaling 234 of the teams 430 yards on the ground and three rushing touchdowns. Rushton also passed for 99 yards and a touchdown. Also rushing for more than 100 yards for the Leopards was Brian Maddox with 111 yards. LaBrae (3-3) quarterback Kent Wolford passed for 226 yards and a touchdown.

Newton Falls 26, Champion 20

CHAMPION

Newton Falls (3-3, 1-0 All-American Conference Blue) bounced back from a 14-0 deficit to defeat Champion (0-6, 0-3). Braden Bungard led the Tigers attack, rushing for 75 yards and passing for 141. His 90-yard touchdown pass to Colton Hunt put the Tigers ahead for good. Nick Stahlman passed for 103 yards for Champion.

Brookfield 36, Edgewood 16

BROOKFIELD

Alex Clark scored three touchdowns for the Warriors (2-4). Dakota King caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Hayden Gibson.

Western Reserve 41, Lowellville 0

BERLIN CENTER

The Western Reserve (5-1) defense was stout, holding Lowellville (2-4) to 48 total yards of offense on 49 offensive snaps. Offensively, the Blue Devils were just as effective. Dom Velasquez passed for 235 yards, Jack Cappabianca had 85 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the offense rolled. Adam Gatrell also had two rushing touchdowns for Western Reserve.

Mineral Ridge 39, Waterloo 7

MINERAL RIDGE

Dakota Edwards scored on runs of 4 and 58 yards to lead the Rams (4-2, 2-1 Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference). He also hit Jarred Miller for a 25-yard touchdown. DeCosta Baptise’s 1119 yards of rushing included an 18-yard touchdown. Mike McLean scored touchdowns on runs covering 34 and 2 yards. Waterloo is 2-4, 1-2.

McDonald 49, Jackson-Milton 7

NORTH JACKSON

The area’s leading rusher Alex Cintron led McDonald (5-1) to a dominate victory behind 190 yards rushing. Cintron also had 21 receiving yards and McDonald ran for 463 yards as a team. Sebastian Lay passed for 75 yards for Jackson-Milton (2-4).

Lisbon 41, Leetonia 0

LISBON

Cammeron Summers rushed for 138 yards and scored three touchdowns for the Blue Devils (5-1, 3-0 Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference). His scores came on runs of 10, 28 and 65 yards. Logan Bell connected with Dougie Minor for touchdowns covering 38 and 20 yards. The Bears are 0-6, 0-3.

United 26, Wellsville 7

Wellsville

Ethan Antram ran for 141 yards on 20 attempts for United. Quarterback Nathan Mikell was 6 of 11 for 62 yards and a touchdown. MIkell also ran 13 times for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Troy Carter was 12 for 35 with 134 yards passing. He also had a rushing TD for the Tigers. Running back Derrick Suggs had 85 yards rushing on 25 carries. Brandon Patterson had four catches for 68 yards for Wellsville.

West Branch 20, Carrollton 14

TJ DeShields was 14 of 28 for 183 yards and two touchdowns for West Branch. DeShields also ran 13 times for 28 yards and a score. Kyle Linhart was DeShields’ favorite target, catching seven pass for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Rastetter caught four pass for 56 yards for the Warriors. Carrollton quarterback Parker Crim was 1 for 4 with four yards and ran the ball 11 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns.

East Palestine 57, Southern 44

EAST PALESTINE

Parker Sherry passed for 106 yards and ran for 101 to power the Bulldogs (4-2, 3-0 EOAC). He scored touchdowns on runs covering 36 and 2 yards. He also threw two scoring passes (20 yards to Dominic Posey, 25 to Branden Kemp). Posey rushed for 168 yards and scored on runs covering 55, 6, 8 and 11 yards. For the Indians (2-4, 0-3), Andre Sloan returned a kickoff 94 yards for a score. Will Grodhaus rushed for 110 yards and scored on runs covering 11 and 1 yards. Cam Grodhaus and Mark Soukop also ran for touchdowns.

Marlington 20, Salem 16

ALLIANCE

Mitch Davidson threw for 86 yards and had two touchdown passes to lead Salem. Chase Ackerman caught nine passes for 86 yards, including both touchdowns. Nolan Domer scored all three touchdowns for Marlington and rushed for 172 yards on 29 attempts. CJ Greiner was able to complete 11 of 17 passes for 80 yards for the Dukes.

Py. Valley 38, Southington 7

Southington

Pymantuning Valley’s Gaige Willis ran the ball 19 times for 309 yards and three touchdowns, and Logan Drnek was 5 of 9 for 186 yards and three touchdowns. Trystan Mollohan was 10 of 25 for 144 yards and a touchdown for Southington, Austin Smith had six catches for 60 yards.
