Tyris Dickerson scored two touchdowns on runs covering 10 and 3 yards for the Knights (1-1).
Shane Hamm, who passed for 131 yards, hit Jalen Knight for a 40-yard score. Paulson Fitzpatrick returned an interception 55 yards for the Knights’ other touchdown.
For the Cardinals (1-1), Antonio Page rushed for a 9-yard score and connected with Luke Fulton for a 68-yard scoring toss.
Lakeview 30, Liberty 20
CORTLAND
Evan Adair scored touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs (1-1). Adair’s scores covered 1 and 11 yards.
Zach Rogers hit Tony Crish with a 9-yard scoring strike and rushed for a 5-yard touchdown. Crish led the Bulldogs in rushing with 89 yards on 16 carries.
Rogers completed 10 of 17 passes for 97 yards.
For the Leopards (0-2), Brian Maddox scored on runs covering 56 and 8 yards. Dre Rushton scored the other touchdown on a 5-yard run. Maddox rushed 15 times for 117 yards. Rushton ran for 88 yards and passed for 101.
CVCA 41, Campbell 21
CUYAHOGA FALLS
The CVCA rushing attack of Elijah Payne and Jack Atwood was too much for Campbell (1-1).
Payne racked up 120 yards and Atwood added another 112. Payne had two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown.
For Campbell Brandon Liggens finished with 88 ayrds rushing and a touchdown, and Darion Jones passed for 149 yards and two touchdowns.
Brookfield 23, Springfield 14
BROOKFIELD
Alex Clark rushed for 216 yards including a 65-yard touchdown to lead the Warriors (1-1).
Noah Harnett passes for 155 yards. He connected with Bryce Randall for a 50-yard touchdown toss. Randall caught four passes for 92 yards. RJ Hall kicked a 25-yard field goal.
For the Tigers (0-2), Brannon Brungard passed for 140 yards but was intercepted twice (Harnett and Alex Bell). Zack Stouffer and Luke Snyder scored the touchdowns.
Columbiana 38, McDonald 37 OT
COLUMBIANA
Columbiana (1-1) scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to erase a 31-20 defecit.
The Clippers were led by the duo of Jakob Cross (185 passing yards) and Chase Franken (133 receiving yards) in their overtime win.
McDonald (1-1) was led by Alex Cintron who rushed for 243 yards.
Lisbon 33, Mineral Ridge 32
LISBON
Justin Sweeney had two fumble return touchdowns and a rushing touchdown to lead Lisbon over Mineral Ridge.
Logan Bell also added a rushing touchdown for Lisbon.
Jarred Miller paced Mineral Ridge with 133 yards rushing.
DeCosta Baptiste had three touchdowns for the Rams including a 70-yard punt return touchdown.
Beaver Local 39, West Branch 36
BELOIT
Garret Givens scored from one yard out with 26 seconds left to give Beaver Local (2-0) the win.
Michale Clendenning led the way for the Beavers, rushing for 178 yards and three touchdowns and adding a 69-yard touchdown grab. Luke Call added a rushing touchdown for the Beavers.
For West Branch (0-2) TJ DeShields put up 342 ayrds and four touchdowns through the air.
Kyle Linhart caught 13 balls for 196 yards and a touchdown.
Perry 65, East Palestine 12
EAST PALESTINE
For the Bulldogs (0-2), Parker Sherry completed 23-of-33 passes for 243 yards. He threw two touchdown passes and was intercepted three times. Dominic Posey caught nine passes for 134 yards including a touchdown and Branden Kemp caught five passes for 95 yards including a touchdown.
Salem 21, United 9
SALEM
Mitch Davidson passed for 153 yards and thre two touchdown passes for the Quakers (2-0).
Chase Ackerman caught a 4-yard pass and Luke Weingart caught a 10-yarder for the Quakers’ first two touchdowns. Cade Campolito, who rushed for 127 yards, scored from the 5.
For the Eagles (1-1). Nathan Mikell hit Kaden Smith for a 17-yard touchdown. Mikell completed 12 of 16 passes for 158 yards. Smith caught six of them for 80 yards.
Rittman 34, Champion 0
CHAMPION
Sevi Garza ran for 147 yards and a touchdown as Rittman (2-0) rolled past Champion (0-2).
Tony Ramsier found the endzone twice for Rittman.
Champion was led by Nick Stahlman who passed for 86 yards.
Windham 29, Lowellville 6
LOWELLVILLE
Blake Eye connected with Tyler Collins on two touchdown passes to lead Windham (2-0) past Lowellville (1-1).
Matt Hvisdak had 23 yards on the ground for the Rockets.
Defensively for Lowellville Vinnie Kacir and Joe Ballone had seven tackles each and Anthony Sanchez had an interception.
Newton Falls 20, Jackson-Milton 13
NEWTON FALLS
Billy Wright ran for 153 yards and a touchdown as Newton Falls improves to 2-0.
Mitchell Hartley caught three passes for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Jacob Wright completed his only passing attempt for 29 yards and a touchdown.
No stats were reported for Jackson-Milton (1-1).
Southington 44, Sebring 14
SEBRING
The Wildcats rushed for 338 yards to remain unbeaten on the season.
Jacob Baker led the winning side with 165 yards and a touchdown.
Chase Iser ran for 26 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Joey Myers ran for 48 yards and a TD while catching a 30-yard touchdown pass from Trystan Mollohan.
