AUSTINTOWN

After a scoreless first quarter, Austintown scored one touchdown in each of the second, third and fourth quarters. Fitch quarterback Joey Zielinski scored touchdowns from 1-and 11-yard runs and threw for 12 yards. He was the leading rusher with 112 yards on 17 attempts. Regan Schleicher threw 128 yards on 29 attemps and 10 completions for McDowell. The Trojans’ rushing leader was Xavier Pulliam with 95 yards on 20 attempts.

Girard 66, Newton Falls 6

NEWTON FALLS

Mark Waid passed for 402 yards and threw six touchdown passes for the Indians (8-0, 4-0 All-American Conference Blue). Mike Belcik caught two of them (58 and 80 yards). The others were thrown to Morgan Clardy (5), Devin Wilson (76), Nick Malito (58) and Jamil Bannister (3 yards). Belcik finished with five catches for 201 yards. For the Tigers (3-5, 1-2), Jared Koch scored on a 26-yard run. He rushed for 46 yards.

Brookfield 45, LaBrae 35

BROOKFIELD

Alex Clark rushed for 330 yards and scored five touchdowns for the Warriors (3-5, 1-2 AAC Blue). His touchdowns covered 41, 13, 1, 63 and 5 yards. He also hit Noah Harnett with a 10-yard touchdown pass. Hayden Gibson scored the other touchdown on a 10-yard run. He passed for 103 yards. For the Vikings (4-4, 3-2), Colton Stoneman scored on a 5-yard run and caught a 34-yard scoring pass from Kent Wolford. Benton Tennant caught a 34-yard scoring pass while Walton Allie scored from the 17 and Tyler Stephens returned an interception 45 yards. Wolford passed for 158 yards.

Campbell 36, Champion 12

CHAMPION

Campbell quarterback Darion Jones threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns on 10-of-13 passing. Nikita Klimis caught eight passes for 83 yards, including a 46-yards touchdown reception in the second quarter. Champion’s Nick Stahlman completed five passes for 117 yards. Ryan Douglas caught a 74-yard touchdown pass from Stahlman in the fourth quarter. Douglas caught two passes for 86 yards for Champion.

South Range 31, Kenmore-Garfield 8

NORTH LIMA

Peyton Remish ran for 109 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns for the Raiders. Aniello Buzzacco completed three passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Buzzacco ran for a 18-yard score in the second quarter. Mathias Combs caught two passes for 57 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown from Buzzacco. Dwan Grandison ran the ball 11 times for Kenmore-Garfield for 67 yards and a touchdown.

McDonald 47, Sebring 8

McDonald scored 41 unanswered points in the first quarter. The Blue Devils held the Trojans to 109 total yards and six first downs. McDonald’s Josh Celli carried the ball five times for 130 and three touchdowns. Blue Devils quarterback Ryan Scala completed one pass for an 18-yard touchdown to Cameron Tucker in the first quarter. Sebring’s Holden Bennett ran for a 3-yard touchdown for the Trojans only score.

Springfield 52, Mineral Ridge 19

The Tigers outscored the Rams 28-6 in the second half. Springfield’s Luke Snyder ran for 141 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. Brannon Brungard completed 6-of-12 passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns. Austin Trebella caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Brungard in the first quarter. Mineral Ridge’s Dakota Edwards completed four passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.

Dom Velasquez passed for 185 yards and threw three touchdown passes for the Blue Devils (6-2, 4-1 Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference). Jack Cappabianca (6 yards), Kade Hilles (39) and Aaron Posten (25) caught the scoring passes. Adam Gatrell rushed for 189 yards and scored on runs covering 38 and 5 yards. Marcos Cruz scored from the 2. The Vikings are 3-5, 2-3.

Lowellville 14, Jackson-Milton 0

LOWELLVILLE

Jake Rotz ran for a 1-yard touchdown to give Lowellville a first-quarter lead. Lowellville’s Achili Minch ran for a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter. The Rockets combined for 192 total yards, 190 rushing. Minch ran for 125 yards on 25 carries. Jackson-Milton’s Ryan Staton caught one pass for 48 yards. Jimmy Harper ran for 44 yards on eight carries for the Blue Jays.

Louisville 38, West Branch 21

LOUISVILLE

Louisville outscored the Warriors 24-7 in the second half. West Branch quarterback TJ DeShields threw for 245 yards on 25-of-32 passing. DeShields ran 15 times for 54 yards and three touchdowns. West Branch’s Kyle Linhart caught eight passes for 96 yards. Louisville’s Max Hartline returned an 86-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter. Hartline ran for 179 yards on 21 attempts.

SALEM

Mitch Davidson passed for three touchdowns and caught one from Turner Johnson. Davidson passed for 165 yards and hit Chase Ackerman with two scoring passes (15 and 66 yards).Niko Walter returned a kick 82 yards for the Quakers (5-3, 2-3 Northeastern Buckeye Conference).

Crestview 35, Kent Roosevelt 18

KENT

Caleb Hill scored touchdowns on runs covering 11, 3 and 5 yards for the Rebels (4-4). Ethan Powell scored on an 80-yard run and Andrew Yanssens rushed for 131 yards. For Kent, C.J. Anderson passes for 113 yards.

Columbiana 24, Lisbon 19

LISBON

Zach Phillips rushed for 112 yards and his 67-yard touchdown in the second quarter put the Clippers (6-2, 5-0 Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference) ahead for keeps. Jakob Cross passed for 176 yards. For the Blue Devils (6-2, 4-1), Logan Bell threw two touchdown passes to Seth Stokes(11 and 12 yards). Bell passed for 183 yards. Ryan McCullough scored on a 41-yard run.

East Palestine 64, Toronto 20

EAST PALESTINE

Parker Sherry passed for 243 yards and threw three touchdown passes for the Bulldogs (6-2, 5-0 EOAC). He also rushed for 122 yards and scored on a 35-yard run.Sherry’s touchdown tosses were to Branden Kemp (40 yards), Jordan Fristik (17) and Dominic Posey (30). Posey rushed for 156 yards and scored two touchdowns. Toronto is 4-4, 2-3.

United 43, Leetonia 0

HANOVERTON

The Golden Eagles scored all 43 points in the first half. United ran for 200 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries. United’s Cade Wood ran for 41 yards on two carries and a score. Teammate Ethan Antram ran for 37 yards and two touchdowns. Leetonia quarterback Brock Simpson completed 3 of 8 for 56 yards and was intercepted.

Mathews 41, Southington 13

VIENNA

Daniel Cantor ran for 147 yards and three touchdowns for the Mustangs. Dillon Cantor threw for 87 yards and two touchdowns on 5 of 8 passing. Mathews combined for 458 total yards. Southington’s caught six passes for 90 yards and two scores. Tristen Mollohan went 8 of 18 for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Mollohan also ran the ball 12 times for 54 yards.
