Despite moving up to Division III from Division IV, NDCL will face a Mahoning Valley opponent for the third straight year. The Lions knocked Cardinal Mooney out of the playoffs last year and fell to Ursuline in the previous year ... Cardinals quarterback Vinny Fiorenza is the team all-purpose leader on offense, passing for 757 yards, rushing for a team-high 1,297 yards and scoring 16 total touchdowns in the regular season ... Manni Malone offers a little bit of everything for NDCL, he’s the team’s second-leading rusher with 547 rushing yards and a team-high five touchdowns. On defense, he leads the team in tackles with 102, including a team-high 43 tackles for a loss and nine sacks ... Lions kicker Gabe Brkic is 5-for-6 on field goals from 45 yards and beyond, his longest coming at 53 yards.
