Harding, JFK remain second in AP state poll

Warren Harding and Warren JFK held onto the No. 2 spots in their respective divisions in the latest Associated Press state high school football poll, released on Monday.
The Raiders (5-0) picked up six first-place votes and trailed only Avon in Division II. The Eagles (5-0) earned three first-place votes in Division VII and trailed only Mogadore.
Warren Harding beat Ursuline 34-19 last Friday. Warren JFK beat Steubenville Catholic Central 17-0 on Saturday.
Cardinal Mooney (4-1) moved up to seventh in Division IV after cracking the top 10 a week ago for the first time this season. The Cardinals beat Mentor Lake Catholic 42-12 on Saturday.
South Range (5-0) received one first-place vote and was 10th in Division V. The Raiders beat Lisbon 55-8 on Friday.
Hubbard (4-1) and Struthers (4-1) were 15th and 19th, respectively, in Division IV. The Eagles fell to Howland 20-0 on Friday, while the Wildcats beat Canfield 38-21.
Lisbon (4-1) was 12th in Division VI and Lisbon Jackson-Milton (4-1) was 13th in Division VII.
