BROOKFIELD

Xavier Bailey rushed for 159 yards and passed for another 113 to lead the Warriors (2-1). Bailey scored a touchdown on a 55-yard run and threw two touchdown passes to Brian Hiner covering 3 and 17 yards.

Hiner also returned a fumble 22 yards for a touchdown. Alex Clark scored a 17-yard touchdown and Brice Randall caught a 21-yard scoring toss from Bailey.

Joe Hauser threw three touchdowns passes for Berkshire.

Campbell Memorial 35 Pymatuning Valley 0

ANDOVER

Yianni Koullias recorded 216 rushing yards on 17 carries and he scored three touchdowns. Lazarus Lebron had a 40-yard interception return for a touchdown for the Red Devils who improved to 2-1.

Canfield 44 Kenston 12

CANFIELD

Jake Cummings ran for four touchdowns in the first half and then threw for a fifth in the third quarter as the Cardinals (2-1) rolled over Kenston (1-2). Cummings ran for 147 yards and threw for 163 in an offense that racked up 389 yards on the ground.

CHAMPION

Dalton Fall had an impressive day through the air throwing for 278 yards and five touchdowns. Tommy Bissler and Anthony DeNigris had two touchdowns each.

Brandon Allen threw a touchdown to Nate Stahlman for 70 yards Nate also had a rushing touchdown for Champion.

Howland 34 Lakeside 0

HOWLAND

Victor Williams had a total of 180 yards with a pair of touchdowns, one which was a 93-yard run in the first quarter.

Tyriq Ellis had a pair of rushing scores rushing for a total of 74 yards for Howland.

Hubbard 51 Edgewood 13

HUBBARD

The Eagles (3-0) jumped out to a 44-0 halftime lead thanks to three touchdown runs from Rafael Morales.

Jamie Thompson caught a touchdown pass from Shannon Slovesko and Tyreq Moorer broke off a 74-yard run in the third.

Hubbard forced three turnovers Edgewood (0-3).

Newton Falls 24 Mineral Ridge 21

NEWTON FALLS

Jordan Edmondson opened the game with a 60-yard kickoff return to get Newton Falls on the board. Teammate Branden Bungard had a pair of rushing touchdowns, both on 1-yard runs. DeCosta Baptiste had a 30-yard fumble return in the first quarter and an 83-yard run in the third quarter for Mineral Ridge.

AKRON

Seth Morrow scored two rushing touchdowns covering 2 and 8 yards for the Raiders (3-0).

Aniello Buzzacco found Mathias Combs for a 15-yard touchdown while A.J. Baytos returned a fumble for another score. Nathan Daniszewski led the Riaders with 78 yards rushing on 10 carries. One was a 55-yard touchdown.

Andrew McFadden scored both touchdowns for Manchester (0-3).

Cuyahoga Heights 45 Springfield 21

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Brannon Brungard recorded 68 total yards and two scores. Luke Snyder led the team in rushing with 135 yards on 15 carries. Daniel Polonus scored a rushing touchdown late in the fourth quarter for the Tigers.

Alliance 33, Crestview 14

ALLIANCE

Alliance’s ground game proved to be better than Crestview as the Aviators outrushed the Rebels 332-225. Quarterback Caleb Hill scored two touchdowns and ran for 51 yards. Andrew Yannsens led the Rebels with 115 rushing yards. Alliance’s Duce Johnson ran for 92 yards and a touchdown. Aviators QB Howard Frazier rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

Black River 35 McDonald 26

SULLIVAN

Alex Cintron had a pair of touchdowns. His first was a receiving score from Dylan Portolese for 57 yards in the second quarter. His rushing touchdown came in the third quarter. Joe Sudol returned an 85-yard kickoff return in the third quarter.

Jackson-Milton 50 Windham 29

WINDHAM

Noah Laster scored four touchdowns while Johnathon Voland scored two and kicked a field goal for the Bluejays (2-1).

Laster returned a kick 82 yards and scored on runs covering 62 and 87 yards. He also caught a 47-yard scoring pass from Voland.

Voland scored on runs of 21 and 7 yards and kicked a 39-yard field goal.

Nicholas Vergallito caught a 56-yard pass for another score.

Voland completed 11 of 20 passes for 239 yards. Laster caught five of them for 91 yards.

Laster rushed for 162 yards on eight carries.

For the Bombers, Blaze Angle passed for 133 yards and Phillip Maiorca gained 98 yards on 18 carries.

Lisbon 30 United 0

LISBON

Cameron Summers led the way on the ground for Lisbon with 13 carries 118 yards and a touchdown.

Jason Thompson helped game with nine carries 69 yards and a score.

Salem 31 East Liverpool 0

Mitch Davidson completed 21 of 32 passes for 294 yards and four touchdowns as Salem (2-1) shutout East Liverpool (0-3).

The Quakers outgained the Potters on offense 475-120 and limited East Liverpool to 22 rushing yards on 23 attempts.

Southeast 20, West Branch 0

BELOIT

Kyle Stull had two first-quarter rushing touchdowns and Dylan Rogers found Avery Munger for a 27 yard passing touchdown in the second quarter in a road win for Southeast (1-2).

Brett Butcher hauled in 13 passes for 121 yards for West Branch (1-2).

W. Reserve Academy 47, Mathews 20

VIENNA

Cooper Parrott scored three times for Western Reserve Academy while Mathews couldn’t overcome four turnovers.

Daniel Carter had two touchdown runs for the Mustangs (2-1). He finished with 13 carries for 126 yards.
