Warren Harding 48, Ashtabula Lakeside 0

Saybrook township

With Lynn Bowden used sparingly six different Raiders reached the end zone . Warren Harding (6-0,2-0 All-American Conference Gold) was led by Kayron Adams on the ground with 103 yards and two touchdowns.

Juvar King and Tavon Hooks each hauled in touchdown passes. On defense Naz Batee-Diggs led Harding with 4.5 tackles. Spencer Loftus led Lakeside (1-5,0-1) with 82 total yards.

Ursuline 41, RICC 12

YOUNGSTOWN

Daylen Harris scored two touchdowns to lead the Irish (3-3) to victory over Royal Imperial Collegiate of Canada.

Jared Fabry hit Dakota Hobbs for a 58-yard touchdown and Joe Floyd, Dawalyn Washington and Spencer Warren rushed for scores.

For RICC, Tucker Pruett passed for 233 yards and hit Blake Cougar and Isaiah Schlegel for fourth-quarter touchdowns.

Massillon 38, Austintown Fitch 21

AUSTINTOWN

Fitch (3-3) trailed by three at the half, but Massillon (4-2) scored 21 points in the second half. Randy Smith rushed for 94 yards and scored all three of the Falcon’s touchdowns and Nate Fowler threw for 163 yards and a pick. Massillon’s Louie Partridge rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns.

Howland 42, Youngstown East 0

HOWLAND

Howland (4-2,2-0) was clicking on offense scoring 35 first-half points. Victor Williams had two touchdowns and 95 yards. Tyriq Ellis had 93 yards rushing with a score and Samari Dean was 5 for 5 with 97 yards passing. The Panthers are 1-5, 0-2 AAC Red.

Brookfield 30, Edgewood 7

Ashtabula township

Xavier Bailey had 279 yards rushing and two touchdowns along with one through the air to lead the Warriors(4-2, 2-1 AAC Blue) over Edgewood(1-5).

Alex Clark was his favorite target, reeling in two catches for 24 yards and a touchdown. Edgewood was led by Gavin Buckmeier who rushed for 39 yards.

Jefferson 49, Lakeview 27

JEFFERSON

Jeremiah Knight ran 25 times for 369 yards and five total touchdowns in Jefferson’s (3-3, 1-1 AAC White) win over Lakeview (3-3, 1-2).

The Bulldogs could not stop Jefferson’s rushing attack as the Falcons ran for 435 yards and only threw for 53. Tony Crish rushed 18 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns in defeat.

Girard 41, Campbell 35

Girard (1-5, 1-1 ACC Blue Blue) picked up their first win through 373 passing yards from quarterback Mark Waid.

The Indians outscored Campbell (2-4, 0-3) 23-7 in the second quarter. Yanni Koullias ran 28 times for 163 yards and four touchdowns in the loss.

Champion 14, Newton Falls 6

NEWTON FALLS

Champion (4-2,2-1 AAC Blue) squeaked out a win behind Brandon Allen, who connected with Jerry Sabo for a 44-yard touchdown pass and scored on a run from 51 yards out.

Newton Falls (2-4,0-2) kept the game close with a late score from Branden Bungard in the fourth quarter.

Springfield 34, South Range 27, OT

SPRINGFIELD

Springfield (4-2, 1-0 Inter-Tri County League Red) and South Range (5-1, 0-1) took part in a classic game. South Range had the lead at halftime 20-13 but Springfield come out of the locker room and added 14 unanswered points in the third quarter. Austin Kelly tied the game in the fourth quarter with an 8-yard punt return. In overtime, Austin Trebella caught a 25-yard pass from Brannon Brungard to win the game.

Crestview 47, United 14

HANOVERTON

Andrew Yanssens found the end zone three times on the ground on carries of 66, 27 and 17 yards in a win for Crestview (3-3, 1-0 ITCL Red).

Ty Fitzsimmons, Caleb Hill, Dakota Stratton and James Fitzgerald all also scored for the Rebels.

Jake Clark scored two touchdowns for United (2-4, 0-1 ITCL Red) on 25 and nine yard passing plays.

Western Reserve 43, Lowellville 6

Lowellville

Western Reserve(3-3, 1-0 ITCL White) quarterback Dominic Velasquez had 118 yards and two touchdowns through the air and Jack Cappabianca added 72 yards and a touchdown on the ground in a 43-6 victory.

Kade Hilles was the recipeient of both of Velasquez’s touchdown passes. Ryan Slaven anchored the defense with six tackles and 3 tackles for loss.

For Lowellville(0-6,0-1) Achili Minch had 53 yards on the ground.

East Palestine 47, Leetonia 3

East Palestine

Leetonia(1-5) was led by Danny McCool’s 91 total yards. Brock Simpson had 44 yards passing and the Leetonia gained 14 first downs. East Palestine(4-2) did not provide stats.

Mineral Ridge 33, Sebring 32

SEBRING

Michael McLean scored from 1 yard out in overtime and Danny Linebaugh’s point after won the game after Sebring failed to score their conversion in overtime. The Rams (1-5, 1-0 ITCL Blue) won for the first time this year despite being outgained 401-174. Jarred Miller rushed 21 times for 103 yards in the win. Nate Martin ran 30 times for 224 yards and three total touchdowns for Sebring (3-3, 0-1 I).

Lisbon 44, Wellsville 22

WELLSVILLE

Lisbon (5-1) totalled 418 yards on the ground and scored three touchdowns in the quarter to put the game away. Blue Devils quarterback Colin Sweeney rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns and completed his only pass to David Toot for a 13-yard touchdown pass. Justin Miller threw for 193 yards and two touchdowns for Wellsville (2-4). Michael Shope caught three passes for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Warren JFK 44, Trinity 0

WARREN

Warren JFK (6-0,1-0) scored 22 points in the first quarter. Led by Greg Valent’s 74 rushing yards and 122 passing yards the Eagles were able to secure this win early. Andrew Kenaga had 116 rushing yards for Trinity (1-5,0-1).

Mathews 30, Weirton Madonna 14

VIENNA

Dan Canter rushed for 207 yards and scored touchdowns on runs covering 1 and 16 yards for the Mustangs (3-3). Andrew Simon scored the other touchdowns on runs of 8 and 6 yards.

Grand Valley 48, Newbury 0

ORWELL

Grand Valley(5-1,2-0) cruised to an easy victory thanks to the stingy defense. Five players had six or more tackles led by Noah Parsons who had six tackles and an interception. Newbury falls to 3-3.
