Mr. and Mrs. Hanisko celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. David Hanisko of Campbell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 9 during an evening party at Johnny’s Restaurant in Boardman.

Their children are David (Marian) Hanisko of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Eric (Alaina) Hanisko of Campbell.

Their children, along with Richard and Dolores Parks, hosted the celebration.

Mr. Hanisko and the former Margery Parks were married on July 9, 1966, at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown.

The Haniskos are members of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish.

Mrs. Hanisko retired as a teacher in 2003 from Campbell City Schools.

She is a hospital volunteer and member of Gamma Sigma Sigma.

Mr. Hanisko worked at Wean Industries-East Ohio Machinery in Austintown as a layout designer before retiring in 1998.

He is a member of the University Club, Clutch Busters and American Legion. He served in the Army Reserves from 1964 to 1970.
