Troy Colicci scored touchdowns on runs covering 8 and 65 yards for the Spartans (2-0) in the completion of Friday’s lightning-suspended game. Justin Franklin returned the opening kickoff 94 yards to set the tone. Alex Rivera threw two touchdown passes and ran for another. For the Golden Flashes (0-2), quarterback Brandon Allen scored on a 55-yard run. He completed eight of 17 passes for 78 yards.

Justin Jenkins ran for two touchdowns and passed for 192 yards to lead the Vikings (2-0) at Mollenkopf Stadium. His touchdowns covered two and three yards. Chris Mathews scored two touchdowns from the same distances. Keevon Harris scored the other touchdown on a 30-yard run. For the Eagles (0-2), Michael Roscoe connected with Dominic Alberini for a 75-yard touchdown.
