POLAND

Dom Petrony threw four touchdown passes for the Bulldogs (8-1, 3-1 All-American Conference American). Tate Duarte caught two of them for scores covering 9 and 18 yards. Austin Wilson’s scoring toss covered 60 yards. Tyler Smith caught the other for a 5-yard touchdown.

Petrony completed 12 of 18 passes for 166 yards. For East (1-8), Isaiah Donley scored on a 68-yard run.

Canfield 58, Niles 27

CANFIELD

CJ Frost rushed for 128 yards including a 9-yard touchdown for the Cardinals (5-4, 2-2 AAC American). Luke Whittenberger rushed for 91 yards and scored touchdowns on runs covering 13 and 37 yards.

Aaron Jenkins passed for 114 yards and threw scoring tosses to Jake Cummings (27 yards) and Cameron Tareshawty (5 yards). Matt Milligan returned an interception 22 yards.

For the Red Dragons (1-8, 0-4), quarterback Corey Hayes passed for 109 yards and rushed for 73. He threw touchdown passes to Leonard Bryant covering 27 and 18 yards. He also hit Marlon Pearson for a 25-yard touchdown. Damian Coleman led Niles in rushing with 102 yards.

STRUTHERS

Anthony Farkas scored a 9-yard touchdown in overtime for the Wildcats (4-5, 2-2 AAC American). AJ Musolino hit Austin Yemma for a 9-yard score and ran for a 68-yard touchdown. Christian Nemeth caught eight passes form 89 yards. For the Tigers (6-3, 1-3), Jordan Radich scored with a pair of 1-yard runs. Tyriq Ellis rushed for 72 yards and Jaquore Marrs had 50.

South Range 55, Jackson-Milton 20

NORTH LIMA

Joe Alessi ran for 259 yards on just nine carries — four of them for touchdowns — and surpassed the 2,000-yard mark for the season for the Raiders (6-3, 4-2 Inter Tri-County League Tier One) .

Alessi scored on runs of 37, 71, 50 and 20 yards and has rushed for 2,250 yards in nine games.The Raiders also hurt the Bluejays (3-6, 0-6) through the air. Quarterback Ryan Miller threw touchdown passes of 23 and 85 yards to Greg Dunham. South Range also got an 11-yard TD run from David McCabe and a 26-yard TD run from Ethan Dominguez.

Jackson-Milton’s Mike Assion threw a 66-yard TD pass to Nate Kramer and the Bluejays’ QB also ran 25 yards for a score. Zach Lane returned a South Range fumble 15 yards for Jackson-Milton’s other TD.

Crestview 26, United 3

NEw waterford

Jesse Best ran 11 times for 90 yards and three touchdowns to lead Crestview (5-4, 4-2 ITCL Tier One), while Zach Hicks added a 30-yard TD run. Best also threw for 71 yards.

Nick Varagliotti made a 20-yard field goal for United (6-3, 3-3), while Bryan Weyant ran for 56 yards.

Erie (Pa.) McDowell 28, Austintown Fitch 27

MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP, PA.

Tyler Hewlett carried 32 times for 130 yards and Nate Harris ran for 72 yards and two TDs for Fitch (6-3), which lost on a blocked extra point in the fourth quarter.

Jake Tarasovitch ran for two TDs and threw for another to lead McDowell (4-5), which jumped out to a 28-14 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Girard 41, LaBrae 27

Jacob Ryser ran 21 times for 97 yards and three TDs and also caught a 20-yard TD pass from Christian Bello to lead Girard (7-2, 5-1 AAC National).

Bello completed 13 of 15 passes for 182 yards and two TDs, while Randy Walters added six carries for 90 yards, including a game-clinching 59-yard TD run with 2:59 left. Chaston Williams caught three passes for 75 yards and Collin Cramer had four catches for 51 yards.

Keevon Harris caught three passes for 57 yards and a TD and also returned a kickoff 96 yards for another score for LaBrae (5-4, 2-4). Justin Jenkins threw for 123 yards and two TDs and ran for another 90 yards.

Hubbard 41, Northwest 10

Canal Fulton

Larry Scott ran for 153 yards and three touchdowns for the undefeated Eagles.

Down 3-0 after the first quarter, Hubbard scored 34 unanswered points to take control. Scott had touchdown runs of 1, 1, and 58 yards respectfully.

George Hill added 151 yards and three touchdowns for the Eagles.

Lakeview 49, Campbell 8

Cortland

Mike Mannella had 133 yards on 13 carries and three touchdowns on the ground to lead the Bulldogs. Mannella scored once in the first quarter and twice in the second helping the Bulldogs to a 35-0 halftime lead.

The Bulldogs improve to 5-1 in All-American Conference play and 6-3 overall.

For Campbell (1-8, 1-5 AAC), Antwan Carver scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter to avoid the shutout.

Liberty 60, Newton Falls 14

Newton Falls

Lynn Bowden accounted for four touchdowns to lead the Leopards (8-1, 6-0 AAC National). All four were in the first quarter as Bowden ran for two and passed for two more. Bowden finished with 97 yards rushing and 129 yards passing.

Josh Walters threw for 158 yards for Newton Falls (1-8, 0-6).

Brookfield 50, Youngstown Christian 0

Brookfield

Nate Morrison ran 12 times for 68 yards and a touchdown and also scored on a 25-yard interception return and a 64-yard kick return for Brookfield (5-4).

Anthony Necastro threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns, while Brian Hiner ran for 32 yards and a TD and also caught a 24-yard TD pass.

Trevon Clay ran four times for 20 yards to lead YCS (1-8).

Western Reserve 40, Sebring 17

Berlin Center

Joey Stubbs ran five times for 146 yards and four TDs and Western Reserve rolled up 337 yards on the ground.

Joe Falasca caught four passes for 76 yards and a TD and Logan Matas ran for a 1-yard TD for the Blue Devils (8-1, 5-1 ITCL Tier Two). John Clegg threw for 148 yards and a TD.

Nate Martin ran 16 times for 107 yards and a TD and Nick Rine ran 12 times for 83 yards and another score to lead Sebring (4-5, 1-5).

McDonald 49, Lowellville 0

Mcdonald

McDonald gained 460 yards on the ground to run past the Rockets.

Jake Reckard ran for 179 yards and scored four times for the Blue Devils (9-0, 6-0 ITCL Tier Two). Caleb Dimery added 181 yards and two touchdowns in the rout.

Phil Ginnis had 45 rushing yards for Lowellville (4-5, 3-3).

Mineral Ridge 20, Leetonia 7

Nick Ferguson ran 28 times for 160 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Rams (4-5, 3-3 ITCL Tier Two), who held Leetonia to 45 yards rushing. Mac White also ran for a touchdown and threw for 90 yards.

For Leetonia (1-8, 0-6), Colton Gudat threw for 78 yards, including a 9-yard TD to Josh Faulkner.

Jefferson 48, Champion 12

JEFFERSON

Lucas Hitchcock completed 14 of 22 passes for 317 yards and four TDs to lead Jefferson (7-2, 4-2 AAC National), which led 41-6 entering the fourth quarter.

Jeremiah Knight ran 12 times for 152 yards and two TDs, Derek Parker caught five passes for 180 yards and two TDs and James Jackson had six catches for 102 yards and two TDs for Jefferson.

Mason Brown led Champion (1-8, 1-5) with eight carries for 93 yards and Nate Stahlman had 14 carries for 75 yards. Brandon Allen completed 9 of 25 passes for 59 yards and a touchdown to Joe Batcho while Cody Cykon also ran for a TD.

Bedford 23, Harding 0

WARREN

Chawntez Moss returned the opening kickoff 90 yards and scored two more touchdowns for the Bearcats (9-0, 5-0 Lake Erie League). His scoring runs covered 51 and 6 yards. Neil Vilt kicked a 28-yard field goal.

For the Raiders (2-7. 2-3), Kalen Simpson rushed for 104 yards.

Mathews 49 Southington 6

Brian Leippley scored four touchdowns for the Mustangs (6-3, 5-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Cobie Pratt scored touchdowns on runs covering 14 and 38 yards.

Justin Len returned a kick 75 yards for the Wildcats’ (2-7, 1-5) score.
