Cardinal Mooney gave up a 10-point fourth quarter lead and allowed Canisius to score the go-ahead touchdown in the final minute of the game.

Mitchell Thomas returned a Jon Saadey fumble 20 yards to tie the game with 2:40 remaining. Then Michael Torbutt scored the game-winning touchdown on a 26-yard run with 23 seconds left.

Anthony Gill led the Cardinals (4-3) with 91 yards rushing and a score. Saadey also scored a first quarter touchdown in the loss.
