OVI checkpoint tonight, saturdation patrols all weekend in Mahoning County
A federally-funded drunk driving checkpoint is operating on Glenwood Avenue in the city and will continue until midnight, the Mahoning County OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired) Task Force and the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced in a news release.

Fowler gets state grant to promote safe driving
Fowler Township Police Department has received a $65,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Ohio Traffic Safety Office.
