CLEVELAND

Warren JFK, which had already clinched a Division VI playoff berth, captured the outright North Coast League championship with a 36-8 rout of Cleveland Central Catholic on Saturday. All five of the Eagles’ touchdowns came on the ground as Warren JFK (9-1, 5-0) kept it simple against Cleveland Central Catholic (5-5, 3-2). Dominic Naples ran for touchdowns of 5 and 18 yards, Mark Fordeley had a 13-yard scoring run and Alex Rossi ran for a 4-yard TD as the Eagles built a 29- halftime lead. The first score of the game was a 23-yard gield goal by Eric Bofenkamp. The Eages’ Carl Zallow ran 35 yards for a TD in the fourth quarter.
