District: Boardman, Struthers, East, YCS, West Branch and Marlington are winners

MASSILLON

Devin Campbell ran for three touchdowns and scored another on a reception as Boardman overwhelmed Massillon Perry on Friday, 40-2.

Campbell, who ground out 118 yards on 12 carries, scored the first four touchdowns of the game for the Spartans (3-2, 2-0 Federal League).

Campbell scored on runs of 14, 76 and 12 yards and hauled in a 34-yard scoring aerial from Ryan Polofrone to make it 27-0.

After the Panthers (2-3, 0-2) scored on a safety, Polofrone found Dayne Hammond for a 28-yard scoring strike and Eyad Traish ran it in from the 3.

Polofrone completed nine of 15 passes for 176 yards and Hammond caught four balls for 73 yards.

Struthers 40, East Liverpool 0

EAST LIVERPOOL

Tom Kimbrough passed for 175 yards including a 15-yard touchdown to Dylan Duchek. Kimbrough also scored on a 1-yard run.

Mike Kunzer rushed nine times for 92 yards and a 3-yard touchdown for the Wildcats ((4-1). David Stewart scored touchdowns on runs covering 5 and 3 yards. Marcus Donnadio returned an interception 67 yards for another score.

The Potters (0-5) were limited to 53 yards total offense in the game marked by the return of Struthers coach Mark Asher to East Liverpool.

Asher was the Potters’ coach before accepting the Struthers’ coaching position prior to this season.

East 34, Barberton 28

BARBERTON

D.D. Fleetion’s two touchdowns covered 68 and 4 yards for the Panthers (2-3), who had their highest-scoring game of the season.

Rayshawn Johnson hit Treyshawn Thomas with a 63-yard touchdown pass Stephen Shackleford run for an 80-yard score. George Leflore scored on a 4-yard run.

West Branch 35, Carrollton 24

BELOIT

Brenden Wells rushed for 233 yards on 23 carries for the Warriors (2-3, 1-1 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). Wells scored on runs covering 1 and 5 yards as the Warriors rallied from a 17-7 deficit.

Quarterback Troy James completed 7 of 12 passes for 91 yards including two touchdowns to Scott Muckleroy covering 29 and 22 yards.

For Carrollton (1-4, 0-2), Austin Miller scored three touchdowns while Damon Anderson rushed for 157 yards on 26 carries.

Marlington 42, Salem 7

MARLINGTON

The Dukes (4-1, 1-1) churned out 381 rushing yards — led by Alden Hill with 10 carries for 154 yards — to defeat the Quakers (3-2, 1-1) in a Northeastern Buckeye Conference game.

Hill scored on runs of 59 and 63 yards after Salem took an early 7-0 lead.

Yo. Christian 34, Mathews 0

VIENNA

Emmit Underwood completed 7 of 14 passes for 106 yards including a 6-yard touchdown to Darien Townsend for the Eagles (4-1), who began the week rated fifth in the Division VI computer ratings. Townsend also scored on a 13-yard run.

Ryan Grier scored the first touchdown on a 38-yard run and returned an interception 35 yards for another score. Nick Gonda had a 41-yard touchdown on an interception return.

For the Mustangs (1-4), Craig Hunt rushed 20 times for 105 yards.
